A conversation with Oskar Schindler That day I was writing my ugly history midterm history project, I thought a lot about the WWII, the terrible, destructive disaster. How did it happen? I found a lot of pictures, death, blood, fear. The Jews, was hidden in a small cave, and the German soldiers was shooting at them. I can’t breathe when I saw these black and white pictures. I slowly closed my eyes, and I heard someone talked to me. “You can talk to anyone you want.” The sound said. I didn’t say anything, but my mind came up with a name gradually. That was SCHINDLER, Oskar Schindler. When I opened my eyes again, I found myself in a dark factory. I also noticed a small group of Jews slept in a wet corner. They are all tired.” It was a man. I turned around and tried to find out the speaker. The first thing I saw was a pair of black shoes. They were clean and even shinnied under the dim light. I moved up my sight slowly and after the tidy suits, finally I saw his face. His black eyes was deep and clean. The face with a nice haircut had some wrinkles which showed his youth had already gone. He even wore a black bowler hat. These elements made him look so mysterious, but I still know his name. He was Oskar Schindler, the man I was looking for. I walked straightly towards him. “Who are you? It is not the place for a little girl to play.” he said, seriously. “You don’t need to know who I am”, I smiled, “Mr. Schindler, I want to have a conversation with you. I am very impressed by what you have done. You are so famous.” “Famous? Is that the reason you want to talk to me? You can go to find Hitler, he was much more famous than me.
