Italian’s are not used to foreigners and they will do anything to a foreigner, especially if you are black precisely from Africa. The southern Italians are a little caring and considerate, but at the northern part of Italy, for example Lombardi (Verona,Venezia, Brescia, Milano etc.) where one of the famous tourist place (Venice) can be located, the natives of Venice will do everything to get rid of a foreigner if the need arises.

According to G.K Hunter’s article his claims expanded my reading because Othello is a black man and Iago and the other people think that Desdemona should not be in love with a black man, so they try to create confusion between the couple which ended the lives of the couple. Iago’s conception of a black man being an army general was not accepted the Vinezians hence it was very difficult for Iago and Rodrigo to see thyself of working under the authority of Othello as a general. In fact they were not use to that phenomenon since it was not something accepted precisely by the people of Venice. I t was very difficult for them to adjust because all they knew is white man suppose to be in control but this was rather the opposite. From the play Iago felt one of them in the army apart from Othello was supposed to be in charge and command the army instead of a black man who is Othello.
