Otzi Sacrifice

There are many theories how a man found in the alps covered in ice died. Later this man was named Ötzi or the iceman. When Ötzi was found he had many tools /weapons with him. He had a copper axe, threaded mushrooms, a fanny pack with multiple items in it, and and much more. His items were spared away from him and later on when scientist examined him, his skin was like a mummy. There were special tattoos on his body. There was a hole in the back of his head, and there was pollen in his stomach. Since Otzi had many I teams with him and things on his body there are many different theories and scenarios on how he could have died

My theory on how Otzi died is ritual sacrifice. I think Otzi died by being being sacrificed because he had tattoos over his body. Those tattoos could have been to prepare him for the sacrifice. His sacrifice could have been for his community to appease their gods. Otzi also had some broken arrows with him which could have been for the his ritual ceremony. That was why he was chosen to be sacrificed. He was probably carried since he didn't have hiking boots on then people put him on the mountain. Then his items were placed, so it will be with him in the afterlife. In order to kill him he might have ate raw mushrooms to get pollen in his stomach, then the people who were with hi hit him. In thee back of his head. Then he broke some of his arrows for the ceremony and left some for himself to have in the afterlife.

This is what I believed happened to Otzi. There are many different theories on the death of the iceman. Scientist now are still coming up with new theories,maybe sometime in the future scientist might come up with a theory that involves all the evidence that might be
