In terms of the overall structure of Pannenberg’s Systematic Theology, the transition from Chapter 4 on Revelation to the topic of the Trinitarian God in Chapter 5 also represents a change in methodology. Pannenberg has so far offered a cumulative case for divine reality by testing various hypotheses to the fact, demonstrating thereby the anthropological and theological importance of religion.
