The 6th coalition should have executed Napoleon Bonaparte when they were provided a chance in 1814 because France would have become a constitutional monarchy, which would fix many problems that were left as a result of the French Revolution. On May 2, 1814, Louis XVIII “officially promised a constitutional monarchy, with a bicameral parliament, religious toleration, and constitutional rights for all citizens.” (Britannica.com) Louis XVIII stated that he would turn France into a constitutional monarchy and provide the people with various reforms. Since Napoleon came to France after the 6th coalition, Louis XVIII had to flee, and “the ultras exercised increasing control and thwarted most of Louis’s attempts to heal the wounds of the Revolution.”
The Legend of Zelda games feature a mixture of puzzles, action, adventure/battle gameplay, and exploration. These elements have remained constant throughout the series, but with refinements and additions featured in each new game. Later games in the series also include stealth gameplay, where the player must avoid enemies while proceeding through a level, as well as racing elements. Although the games can be beaten with a minimal amount of exploration and side quests, the player is frequently rewarded with helpful items or increased abilities for solving puzzles or exploring hidden areas. Some items are consistent and appear many times throughout the series (such as bombs and bomb flowers, which can be used both as weapons and to open blocked or hidden doorways; boomerangs, which can kill or paralyze enemies; keys for locked doors; magic swords, shields, and bows and arrows), while
Passage Analysis #1 Charlotte Perkins Gilman, “The Yellow Wallpaper” Gilman, in this particular passage of “The Yellow Wallpaper,” explores the theme of female oppression through imagery and symbolism of the wall-paper. These elements of literature make the wall-paper come to life for both the narrator and the audience. “The front pattern does move”(55) personifies the wall-paper to be so animate and physically restraining that the woman behind it must shake it to attempt to escape. The italicization of “does” serves to further affirm that the wallpaper exhibits restrictive human-like behaviors - particularly those of dominant men in society. The narrator states that there are “a great many woman behind”(55), extending the metaphor to all Victorian women in the United States and others around the world who are oppressed.
One of the first animated feature films, one must proclaim that it is a brilliant feature, a wonderful film full of charming comedy, lyrical romance, vigorous and exciting battles, eerie magic, and truly sinister, frightening evil. The double-tale of Prince Achmed and Aladdin battling mythical demons and finding love is presented in the silhouette, Chinese shadow plays tradition with a plot that is a pastiche of stories from One Thousand and One
Another example of a teen film that institutes a similar stereotypical high school social hierarchy is the well-known movie, Mean Girls. Cady Heron, who lived her first 15 years in the African jungle, being home-schooled and living only with her parents, never knew what "high school" meant, until moving out of Africa and enrolling in a real school. She instantly becomes friends with two teenagers, Damian and Janis, who were in the "out crowd", as opposed to the “Plastics”, which consists of Regina, the unofficial leader, Gretchen and Karen, her followers, all of whom are gorgeous and popular. The Plastics, after meeting Cady, immediately let her into their group, but Cady is unsure, because she did not want to leave her first friends, but they

Have you ever been in love? If you have, then you know that love is the force that can change someone’s life. If not, you will learn that love can make you do crazy things or change your life for better or for worse. In Spirited Away, director Hayao Miyazaki illustrates the power of love as a driving force for change. One can clearly see this by analyzing the character progressions of Chihiro, Haku, Yubaba and Zeniba—four prominent characters throughout the film.

Brandt Barry English 4 Honors, Period 2 1st January, 2015 The Arabian Nights Introduction I already know that the Arabian Nights stories were told from a slave woman trying to save the life of her sister from a king and that these stories were told over a period of 1001 days. These stories fall under the category of Folktales, and the use of magic is present in many of these stories. Not all of the stories contain a lesson or a moral, but most do in the form of a warning about the consequences or rewards of certain actions.

Hana moves to the countryside in hopes of her children living a better life secluded from the city. Arguably some of the most important factors in an animated movie would be the animation and cinematography, characterization and development, and personal enjoyment of the film. Immersion into the film’s story and universe is of utmost importance, and the animation is a big part of that.
