Mara Salvatrucha, better known as MS-13 is a very dangerous gang. "There are MS-13 members in at least 42 states ... the gang has strongholds in the U.S., Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala, as well as a significant presence in Spain, Nicaragua, and other Latin American countries" (Logan).
