One of the health careers that I am interested in is neurosurgeon. Neurosurgeons are a small part of this vast world. They work very hard to help and treat people who have serious and deadly neuronal diseases or injuries.
Trying to decide what career or job choice you want for your future is a tough decision to make. One day you might want to become a nurse, and the next day, you will want to become a veterinary technician. This is the situation that I went through in the past year, and all I can say is that going to school to become a veterinary technician was the best decision I have ever made regarding my future. I am excited and more ambitious toward my career than I ever have been, and I’m here to tell you why becoming a veterinary technician is an amazing choice to make!
Erie, Pennsylvania is the average American city. Once a great city built on the factories in the area, the people of Erie now depend on other careers for money. With a struggling economy and a majority of the population around the area living in poverty it can be hard to find a career that will make money. Once one finds a career, they must determine which will support them best in the local economy. Two jobs on opposite sides of the spectrum are farm owner and forensic psychologist.
My career goal is to become a diagnostic medical sonographer, or an ultrasound technician. Each day as an ultrasound technician will bring new surprises. In the morning a sonographer could be conducting an OB/GYN ultrasound, helping an excited first-time mom see her fetus developing in her belly. Then, then in the next procedure your trying to calm an old woman as she waits to see if her tumors have grown. The days of a medical sonographer are never dull but are challenging, fast-paced, and rewarding.

Career Research Paper Hello today I will be talking about my career. Pediatrician are responsible for being a pediatrician will be taking care of newborn, and young adults that are their main task. I found my passion for becoming a pediatrician when we take my brother to the doctor so they check him if he’s sick or something else, I saw how they heard his heart looked at him to see what was wrong with him. Also, a pediatrician is not only an extremely important job, but a career that demands a wide variety of skills, and a lot of patience.
The profession I have chosen to pursue is that of a Physician Assistant. My reason for this selection is because it gives you the independency of a Physician while having somewhat less responsibilities. A Physician Assistant provides healthcare services typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. Some of these services include but are not limited to examining and treating patients, diagnosing illnesses and counseling patients. In some case physician assistants are also tasked to prescribe medicine to patients.
There are two ways to do a career; one is going through the motions and not caring, and the second is loving the career and preforming it whole-heartedly. To aspire to be a great nurse, but more specifically a great oncology nurse, the aspirant must put in time, effort, and dedication into the patient and adore their job. In explanation, an oncology nurse is someone who has received a masters in clinical nursing with a specialty in oncology, which is the study and treatment of a tumor. These professionals work with all age groups and deal with cancerous and noncancerous tumors. However, in order to understand and be good at this career, the aspirant must go through extensive training and education, and be prepared for the work place.
When I learned of my acceptance to Rutgers University, I was initially filled with both excitement and anxiety. Though the opportunities were plentiful at this prestigious University, I was worried that the I would let them slip by. The first two years I was here, I did not exactly thrive. I was unsure of what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and the route that I was taking (exercise science) did not seem to be the right choice. My sister, who had graduated from Rutgers in 2014, suggested public health, as it was less science-intensive and had similar career opportunities.

I come from a country that has always been declared as an emergency response country with high levels of disease transmission, poverty, and undernourishment. At a young age I have witnessed first-hand the impact of low quality healthcare, when I lost several family members and family friends in Sudan due to preventable diseases like malaria and typhoid and chronic diseases like diabetes. Moving back to the United States as a child made me aware of my privilege at a young age and I became passionate about helping those who do not have the same opportunities as me. As a result of my personal experiences, I aspired to pursue a career in medicine because I wanted to be part of improving the health of others, especially those who have the least access to it.
Psychology Psychology, the career that takes understanding the behavior of an ordinary human into a deeper, more emotional meaning with mental connection. Psychology is a career that I’d love to partake for the reason that it defines the truth behind human behavior. It’s interesting considering not many people understand the way the brain functions and how the brain is linked to your emotions causing you to feel and act a certain way. Becoming a psychologist would make me happy because I’d have the sophisticated ability to understand people struggling with a mental yet emotional way. Helping others is one the best accomplishments ever.
Building My Future No one will ever understand what and how much it takes to be grown. So during this research project I learned a lot about my future. From what my salary will be, to where I want to raise a family. This project helps making planning for the future in advance easier.
