Greek Pottery is very diverse. It can provide some valuable and distinct vase shapes that can vary from each other and is some of the oldest and most diverse representations of the cultural beliefs and practices of the ancient Greeks. Patterns can represent symbolic and meaningful things about one’s culture. In this instance, it’s the Greeks. Some of the patterns that I have included in my Pottery is fishes, olives, an olive branch, masks, and a symbolic pattern. On the first and sixth row, I have included fishes. The reason for this is because the Greeks used to live near the sea, so consequently they would eat a great deal of fish.
