People believe he faked his death because of numerous reasons. They say they’ve seen sightings of “The King” in 1989. The number one reason they believe he is still alive is because on his grave, his middle name Aron is spelt as “Aaron.”
Kurt Cobain, musician and leader of the grunge band Nirvana, was born Hoquiam, Washington on February 20, 1967, but grew up in Aberdeen, Washington. Kurt and his friend, Krist Novoselic, formed Nirvana in 1987. Cobain played the guitar and Novoselic played the bass, they added a drummer and bassist and recorded their first album, Bleach, in 1989. This album’s success led to many others including Nevermind (1991), Incesticide (1992) and, In Utero (1993). He met Courtney Love, a member of the rock band Hole, and married her in 1992.
Two of the biggest groups to separate themselves from the other bands of the 1960s were the Beach Boys and the Beatles. Each had their own style of rock ’n’ roll and their own way of creating new music. The Beatles had a very British pop style at the start, which morphed into their unique style of music as they blended and mixed it with different kinds of “world music.” The band worked together to write and develop their style, which was different from the Beach Boys “whose creative center was unquestionably one member of the group” (Starr & Waterman, 305) Brian Wilson. Through Wilson, the Beach Boys developed a surfin’ style of rock ’n’ roll and like the Beatles, Wilson liked to experiment with different instruments and effects to change their sound.
Within the cautionary tales of Soylent Green and Anthem, there are multiple instances where the writers of either pieces describe a future where the value of human life has diminished. Through the hyper capitalistic society of Soylent Green or the hyper communistic world of Anthem, either produces communities that are toxic to the value of human life. The story of Soylent Green takes place in the 21st century however was produced in the early 70s in the United States. The story follows the life of a detective and his record keeper who are investigating a recent murder. The detective concludes it was an assassination.
The Beatles’ impact on Australia in the 1960’s was massive. They gave people hope in a time of war and helped people through the tough times by giving them something inspiring and fun. When the Beatles came to Australia it was massive, people started wearing different clothes and nearly every one stared to listen to the Beatles unique style of music. They gave people a new style that Australia had not seen before, and yet, everyone loved it.

During the sixties, when The Beatles were first introduced to The United States; they were in a depression. Due to the wars, they did not have much to look forward to. However, that was until February 7, 1964 when The Beatles first came to The United States to perform on The Ed Sullivan Show. Most people still did not know that much about The Beatles yet, they were a mystery to everyone. Therefore, everyone were in for a surprise two nights later when they performed.

They’ve changed the world with their music and became the best selling band in history. The Beatles are one of the most influential music groups impacting the world in more ways than one.
Before The Beatles became a band they were individual musicians all with people they looked up to and all with musicians they wanted to take certain traits form. Having four members of the band created a wide variety of influences on the band as a whole by combining the individual members pervious musical repertoire. Starting with George Harrison, his guitar work was influenced by American rockabilly music by Eddie Cochran and Carl Perkins that influenced the band’s songs throughout the years. He also incorporated the melodic lines and slight fills that both Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton created. John Lennon was a huge fan of Elvis, his opinion implied that the there was no true music before Elvis’s time.
Since February of 1964 when the beatles showed their music to the souls of America, everyone was hooked. The Beatles transformed not just the United States form of music but the entire world’s perspective on Rock and Roll; by their attitudes, style and sound. John Lennon and Paul McCartney are very famous names that have come up in many different topics. These guys are the vocalists behind the Beatles.
