Paul Revere was not a unique hero before the Battle of Lexington. Paul Revere and his friend created an alarm plan on April 18-19 in Boston. They was creating an alarm because the British were trying to take over. They was riding their horses from Boston to Charlestown to the Mystic river to Medford town to the meeting house in Lexington and to Concord town. To conclude, if you were only taught “Paul Revere’s ride” you would only see Paul Revere as the unique hero.

Paul Revere and his group of 30 people formed a group and a plan. They planned this in the fall of 1774 and the winter of 1775 in Boston at the Green Dragon Tavern. They created it to spy on the British soldiers by holding meetings at the Green Dragon tavern. The british always …show more content…

Another difference between the poem and the letter is in the letter it says something about these two guys named John Adams and John Hancock, but in the poem it didn’t mention them. Another difference is in the letter it has more locations than the poem.Another difference is, in the letter it says Paul was being chased by British soldiers, but in the poem it doesn’t say he got chased. Another difference is, in the poem it mentions Paul Revere quietly rowing past a boat, but it doesn’t mention that in the letter.And the last difference I noticed is, in the poem it says they was only planning to warn the people when the British were coming but in the letter it states that there plan was to spy on the British. A similarity I noticed is they both mention that this all took place in the year of 1775. Another similar thing is, they both mention that their “meeting house”. There is more differences than similarities. That might be because Paul Revere wrote the letter but not the poem, the letter has more facts while the poem didn’t.
