In Paulo Freire’s “The ‘Banking’ Concept of Education” he outlines the inefficient and oppressive nature of modern education. Friere posits that modern education is of narrative manner, in that the teacher, or narrator, narrates to a listening person, the student. This flow of education is one way, from teacher to student.
