Her heart raced as she listened to the sounds of howls that filled the air around her, she knew what that meant and she wanted no part of it. Paws hit concrete as she moved just as quickly as her legs would allow, wanting only to get home and avoid the mess that was fixing to go down for as long as possible. She felt an instant guilt for the humans who were no doubt being hunted tonight knowing there was so much she could do to help them but none of it would ever be enough to save them. There were just too many predators ready to pounce on the weaker humans who may as well been viewed as prey animals, that's all they were after all. Ducking around corners and avoiding the larger streets in favor of the narrow alley was soon out of options for staying in the shadows. It would take running up this street and off into another to make it home, that meant potentially being spotted. With a deep sigh, she would step out of the alley, her claws clicking at quietly at the ground below her as she ran, her head held down the entire time. Approaching the church that she held so dear to her heart she was terrified to hear the sounds of a woman screaming from inside, coming to a stop just outside the gates turning her head to look towards the doors.
