I have been sanctioned for cheating in academic misconduct. Cheating as per Aggie Honor Code is use of unauthenticated materials in any homework, exam or research or anyone who gives assistance to student regarding research without permission of instructor. If a student is found doing any offensive activity at anytime during commencement of course he/she will be sanctioned Honor code which will be handed over to Honor court to take actions according to rules. Academic misconduct represents a wrong picture of knowledge and capabilities, which subverts the instructor's ability to interpret how well you are doing in the course or how far you can go in academics. Instructors have the power to define academic integrity in their classes, because the expectations for academic performance are directly based on the objectives of the class. He was also sanctioned Honor code for Academic misconduct. Faculty at first is supposed to submit a report to the Office of Student Integrity , which lead to the case being resolved either by an administrator in Office of Student Integrity or the Student Honor Committee or by utilizing the Faculty Conference Resolution option covered in D.5.c of the Code of Conduct. He was found using previous results in present research. This offence impacted his grades as action taken to academic dishonesty. Nicolay’s grades were reduced he scored grade ‘A’ in subject but got grade ‘C’ as a form of punishment but due to his first offence he was left giving appropriate warning and nothing will be shown on his transcript. The input of his faculty member can be particularly valuable here, as it helps Office of Student Integrity understand how grades will be assigned in the course.
