Reasons for starting College

Once a wise a man told me that going to school is an investment in life. I have to work hard in school to succeed because hard work always pays off. I do know that people go to school, but they do not go for the same reasons. Some people go to school to complete an incomplete; they never finish while others go to start a degree. But, I started college since I want to gain financial freedom, to obtain better health coverage, to engage in the community.

Gaining financial freedom is very crucial for I do not have to worry about paying my bills on time. Paying my bills on time can give the capability to travel and spending more time with my family and friends. For example, for my family and me to take on vacation from the county of their choice, I always worked overtime just to make enough to pay the bills for the time that I am away on vacation without a degree I would not be able to take a vacation. Also, high financial stability can give me the capability to enjoy my day off by going the beach or go to the movies. The fact that my eldest child suffers from chronic sinusitis and asthma I always worried about not having great health care benefit in case she is having an asthma attack in the middle of the night. Having insurance can give the opportunity to see a dietitian help me stay in shape by eating well and preventing certain diseases such as hypertension and diabetic. For instance, If I do not have a well-balanced diet to fight with those diseases I can become obese which can produce to other illness or death. Without Insurance, I cannot do any of this. As the doctors always say hypertension is a silent killer meaning that If I do not check it often, I would not know if it is normal or nor with health assistance I can keep my blood pressure in check my visiting my doctor
