Courage is the word that to me means, being yourself, staying strong and positive, and protecting others beyond any rationality. It is a word that motivates people, including myself, to work harder and harder no matter how much it destroys you, both mentally and physically, it’s a word that cancels the worlds advice to give up on something , cause that wouldn’t be courage. Today I will be sharing moments of courage from my perspectives.
I am Biracial meaning more than one race. I would always be asked the most annoying question “What are you?”. Being different was always hard for me cause I was different from a majority of the 5 different schools I’ve been to. This affects my life due to the fact that being biracial in this society because of the stereotypes that people would be judged upon, people including myself, this would also be added onto bullying. I simply walked away not to bother. I did this for a month. They soon left me alone to go prey upon another poor soul. I didn't really want that to happen so I told the teachers. I saw them pushing a girl telling her “That a fat girl like you should get over themselves, go on a diet!” this was followed my pig snouts. So I instantly ran out to help her. I rushed in to push them both away and stood with her as she was crying and I instantly was filled with anger. “!” I screamed “She has done nothing to you guys now LEAVE!” So they left, embarrassed that the prey became the predator. A hour later she thanked me, and then gave me hug. This actually brought me the joy I longed for. There was a fight to fight. Then I realized that was the light I needed. That was courage. Courage allowed me to see my mom come home from the hospital and stand up to the bullied who tormented me, that girl, and every else who fell into their sick jungle . My parents got back together, and I was finally happy again, and so were they
