In this society there are many things that define me as a person and how I am classified and judged throughout my life. Some of the main roles that define me as a person would be, enrolled as a student at Lansing Community College, a son to my father and mother, practicing my faith and religion, being a brother to my siblings and working a job to make me financially stable and ready for the real world. Being able to go to school and getting an education is very important to me as it will give me a solid foundation to where I can support my family and my self for my future. Today I feel like others do not like to advertise there personal identity out to the public because they feel that they will get judged or looked at differently than anyone else. I personally believe that if you believe in something you should not be afraid you should be proud for what you believe in, however when you bring political issues into personal identities voices are sometimes not heard as much. I presume that my opinions and values should not affect what I should say and what I should not say, we all are created equal and we should not get judged for voicing our personal identities. My personal experience was when I went to a Hillary Clinton rally and could see everyone around us had their our own background and styles about life, while I was looking around I could see that nobody was afraid to voice their views about sensitive topics. But when we left I saw all the Trump supporters yelling at the supporters and not letting them hear their voice at all.
