I am most passionate about the fictional stories that I develop and the characters that go along with them. Because of this, I inspire to become a director, producer, and/or a scriptwriter for my own series rather than an author, but that’s another goal, too. My passion for creative writing stemmed from fourth grade, where I saw my group of friends and I as heroes, saving the world and conquering evil. Although I am no longer in contact with most of them, I still continue to develop the characters I based off of them to shape their own unique personalities and paths. Practically, all of my characters were based mostly off of my own experiences with people, characters from television series, real-life places, and more. I immediately brighten up a little with any mention of creative writing because I feel as if someone recognizes that my talent exists, even if indirectly. I know that having a future means that I will move forward in time, but the rest is unknown. It’s a good thing, though, because that way, the mystery serves as motivation for me to work harder, even if it’s just to see what my life will turn out to be. I see the best part of having a future is just knowing that you can reach higher and bigger goals in life, meet new people, acquire more information, etc. A “future” is a little ambiguous to me. Just thinking about it, however, gets me hyped up because I already have high hopes for myself! I have an idea of what I want to do and am excited to get out there in the real world. What scares some being asked of their futures is because of their fear of the unknown. However, as time passes, every decision piles up into making who they are as a person; after all, everyone’s been saying that futures are shaped by their owners.
