I remember the day it happened, just like it happened yesterday. I woke to the birds whistling, chickens clucking, and cows mooing. Just like any other day, I got out of bed changed out of my gown and into my everyday dress. I prepared breakfast for the kids, all nine of them. My husband Ahern was in the woods hunting, I knew he wouldn’t be back until that evening
Then when I got home and finished my ice cream i walked in my house with ice cream all over my face and I hear right as I walked in I hear welcome home and all my friends and family were there I was very excited but a little embarrassed because there was ice cream all over my face and I couldn't tell if the were happy I was there or laughing at me but I didn't really care because I was little, and it didn't matter because kids are always messy, and we were swimming and playing nerf gun war. Then the next week when I got my cast off, and got a new bike and I wanted to ride it
It started out as a normal saturday afternoon. My mom made grilled cheese and I was getting ready for my dad to take me to gymnastics. I had my pink and black leotard on, and I was putting on my sneakers. We got in the car and my dad dropped of some packages at the post office and we got stuck in a bit of traffic. I was late to gym.
I thought it was going to be a normal day, play softball, hang and go out to eat with my closest friends. This would have been easier if I wasn’t grounded from my phone for doing something dumb I did weeks before. Luckily my mom still let me go out to eat with them and I figured she would give me my phone back, but she did not do that. But I was still happy that she let me go with them.
Well have you ever been in a car that just stopped on the side of the road, well if you haven’t read this story. It all started one night six years ago just after we had just finished cleaning school my mom, grandma, and cousin all went to M.C. Donalds to get dinner for all of us. My grandpa and I went in the other car and headed home. All of the sudden just as we were about ten minutes away from home are car little by little started to slowly slow down and drift on to the side of the road. My grandpa had put his head back against the headrest and wasn't doing anything so I started to panick and a get little creeped out.
My dad was as sick as a dog and laid on the warm couch on a freezing winter day. I ever so slowly went downstairs to ask my dad if we can go skiing. I thought for sure that my dad would say no. I went to the couch where my dad was covered in layers of blankets. I slowly asked my dad if we could go to Pando to ski.
Middle (Rising Action): (I’m making lunch)-I’m starting to make our delicious lunch, and my son Grover asks me excitedly “What are you serving up today ma?”. I reply happily “Chicken with mashed potatoes with hopefully non-dusty gravy, lightly salted peppers and hopefully again,no bulky milk.” “That sounds great! I hope our lunch will be healthy and in tip-top shape.” Grover responded in a hopeful tone.
I never thought I would end up in this program. In a strange and perceptible way I’m glad I did. This program allowed me to come into realization of what I really wanted to do and laid down the foundation of me taking those steps to achieve my goals. What lead me to this academic point in my life? Ignoring my desire of what I really wanted to pursue.
Crisp, dark, dead, dry, smells of bonfires and candy was how I described this night but a night didn't do it justice. It was so much more than a night, it was a nightmare, a horror movie come true, all my biggest fears coming to life.. 8:30 p.m. on a beautiful fall night to be exact. Mom and dad out at the church halloween party, so I was left to tend to my rambush siblings who were covered with excitement about Halloween the next day. We sat on the couch watching television to pass the time. My house was two stories and creaked a lot, so much that I became used to it.
NARRATIVE Everything was glittering. The sun was just setting and there were varieties of pinks, oranges, yellows, and reds that all faded down to where the sun was hiding behind the Empire State Building. Bright lights from Jumbo Screen ads, and lights from windows shined all around the city, they all danced above. Even though it was late at night, there were even more people walking the streets then there was when I looked out this morning. I closed the trapdoor and climbed off the boxes that I stood on.
My parents always told me “ if anyone ever picking on you just ignore them and they’ll leave you alone.” I can remember those exact same words it was after I had gotten a referral in the second grade for threatening someone saying “ I’m going to kill you” it was in the middle of the year 2nd grade after lunch we went to recess and they always made us run around the track once and I had been minding my own business walking when a boy ran up behind me and kneed my behind the aching feeling carried on for a while but soon started to fade away as angry as I was I remembered what my parents said and ignored him and proceeded to walk. But that seemed like another opportunity for the boy to come back and knee me again in the same spot more than
I felt a sharp pain in my head. Then suddenly all my vision went red I reach up to my head and feel a lot of blood. I heard screaming. Soon I realized it was my own then I heard a high short scream. I knew Eve has seen me I could not see her
The next week went by quickly and consisted of me buying and getting everything ready for the proposal and me trying to get my nerves under control for my big day. The big finally arrived on the morning of October 7th. I woke up, got dressed, and ate breakfast, all while full of extreme anxiety. Afterwards, I wrapped the poster, flowers and chocolate to conceal them in case I saw Shante before I was supposed to and got in my car and drove to school still full of anxiety. I arrived and walked in the building 10 minutes later doing my best to keep myself under control.
After a long and stressful day of school I’m finally rewarded with a bus ride. A long one in fact. One hour of napping is the reward I had been waiting for. But even though it’s a good time for a nap, people are unfortunately loud. However, that doesn't stop me from having a good hour rest, it’s been a long day anyway.
Since I woke up very early at 6 am, I was so tired that I called my mom to dad and dad to mom. Also I think because I had a terrible breakfast and awful snack, I felt terrible that morning. After that all the terrible happened that morning I started heading to the soccer stadium to play the big tournament. Lots of cars were there when I arrived. Before the big game, or maybe I should call tournament started, we stretched while
