Personal Narrative: Attending A Snowball

“I feel like throwing a snowball,” Jonathan said. Knowing the type of person he was I prepared to run. It was a cold snowy winter in New York around 7:30 pm so there wasn’t that many people or traffic outside. My friends and I were making a trip to the store to pick up some groceries for my mom, but instead, it turned into a foot chase and it was all because of Jonathan. Jonathan was the oldest out of the group, he was average height, stocky, light-skinned, with curly black hair and a high pitched voice. Jonathan was hard headed and was often the one to do the craziest and stupidest things. Then it came me I was short, skinny and always kept a low cut. I was the comedian out of the group, always joked around and made people laugh which made my friends not take me serious at times. The youngest out of all of us was Jose. He was short, skinny, light-skinned and had long black hair that he always kept neatly braided. Jose was the quiet one but seemed to make everybody laugh unintentionally when he spoke. Jonathan picked up a snowball and threw it at a moving car. We laughed it off and kept on walking. “He’s gone,” I said. We all slowly walked down the stairs. Jonathan peeped out the door of the building to see if the guy was out there. “I see the car at the red light on the corner,” Jonathan said. We waited five minutes and then Jonathan peeped out the door again. “He’s gone,” Jonathan said happily. We all walked back to the store laughing and joking about the situation. “You know your mom going to ask us why we took so long, right?” Jose asked. “I’m just going to say we were having a little snowball fight,” I replied.
