Dirt Bike Catastrophe Some four years ago on a small loop road, county road 355, hidden somewhere in the weeds was a convolution maze of dirt bike trails. It couldn’t have been but six months since my step brother, Austin and I started riding dirt bikes daily. We were nothing short of motocross eligible teenagers, jumping feet off the ground, sliding every turn, and being so dirty at the end of the day that two showers were necessary. All of these things changed very suddenly in a wreck that changed our lives.
People should always try new things, but people are too afraid to try it because they are scared. But, I am here to tell you two stories that will teach you how you always try new things. In the story “A Day on the Slopes” by Jaclyn Einis, it talks about a kid named Bobby who goes on a scary slope for the first time, but then tries it for the first time and loves it. The next story “Amra and the Skateboard,” by an Unknown Author, it talks about a girl named Amra who is scared to skate in front of high school kids, but then tries it and likes it.
I got stressed and began freaking out. My mother then told me to brake, which she didn’t tell me how to do before I got on the bike. So, I then rode into the grass and got scraped up on my hands and knees. We got me all bandaged up and I can tell you that at this moment it time, I did not want to get on a bike ever again! After a few days, I decided that I wasn’t going to be afraid of a bike and I was going to know how to ride.
I was actually scared to death being forced by my older sister to ride the blue streak, why did I go you may ask, because I thought I could go to Snoopy land. Well I thought wrong. Here I was in the backseat of my moms car dreading every second, just waiting to get out and hear the screaming of millions of people. It was some type of break, probably spring, in 2012. My sister wanted to go to Cedar Point with my mom, dad, brother, and
Monday October 3rd I was texting my cousin Teagan Snyder and was talking about rodeo season again and she said that she was going to a Leon rodeo and I asked her to ask her mom if I could go with her. Her mom said yes so I hadn’t practiced at all during the week before the rodeo. The Friday night that I got down there I had to get everything ready for the rodeo in one night and it was really hard.
Seeing others going up and down on the ride makes me even more scared,to me it 's hard to man up if your scared. So we 're in the line and we 're making it to the top of the ride. My cousin yells over the thriving loud noise,”you ready?” To myself,I say oh you think,"i’m gonna ride
In 2007 my family and I went to Desoto Caverns. There was a ride there that you had to be a certain height for. I wanted to ride it, so bad! It was called bumper baths, you raced around this track in a little bathtub. I wasn’t tall enough to drive it, but the guy
It was obvious she wouldn’t do as great as I would but she could ride. We were riding with my Dad, and Rob down the trails, at this point I was having a blast. We were reaching the end of our time on trails and were going to ride on a nice field that would be the perfect
Deer Hunting As my Dad and I pulled in the driveway around 11am, my Uncle Jack was about to go out hunting in the stand that everyone has been getting deer in. I couldn’t pass that up as he asked, “Would you like to go out with me?” I wasn’t sure I wanted to go out since I already went out this morning and stayed up late last night. Before I knew it, my Dad was getting my gun ready and loaded.

All things in life can be enjoyable but also unexpected. Everyone has their own natural high. My natural high is riding my dirt bike. Even though riding my dirt bike is fun, it can also be very dangerous. It is very important to always wear safety gear while operating an off-road vehicle.
“Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyways.” – John Wayne. Riding horses can always be a terrifying or calm moment, depending on the horse you ride. I have had many scary moments riding horse, one being breaking my wrist. There is nothing more enjoyable than rising early, saddling your horse, and watching the sun rise.
It was the summer of 2010 when I rode my first horse. I was so scared because I have never rode one. I was so scared I was shivering in my boots. I kept thinking “ I’m going to get bucked off oh my gosh!
I didn 't ever want to go back on that bike again but my brother encouraged me to do it so one day I grabbed the bike and I got on it and forgot all about the fact that the training wheels were off I rode it and I didn 't fall from that day on I rode my bike and I 'd fall here and there but I kept on doing it till I didn 't anymore if I 'd never gotten the courage to
I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
