I was in 4th grade going to 5th grade I was a big kid now. I could do whatever dad could do. If he could ride a four wheeler in the forest I could to. My Dad gave the ok to this idea, and my Mom, well she finally went along with a nervous look on her face. Yay! we could ride the four wheelers by ourselves on the trails through the forest. I couldn’t wait. Of course Emily got to go if I got to go. I figured she could do it to she’s only a year and a half younger than me. That was a close one if I stuck out my arm I could've touched the barn, but I was holding on tighter now and was not going to let go anytime soon. I was breathing harder than I usually did. I looked at all the faces around me they all looked relieved. Then I started thinking, one event can change everything. If I did run into the barn ,well let's just say the barn would get a fresh coat of guts. And I would be pretty injured. If I would’ve been more cautious or tried thinking before I started heading for the barn my parents would be more up for me riding on the four wheelers they wouldn’t have to worry about me making a dumb choice and start heading straight to the barn door. You always should make a smart choice and not put yourself in danger it just isn't a good idea. What you do today affects your tomorrow. I also learned I wasn’t cable of doing just anything dad could do. I would have to work towards it I might be able to make a change, but I couldn’t drive a car, or go to college I still couldn’t do a lot of things, but I could work hard now and be able to do everything my dad does in the future.
