Around age 10 my dad got me one of those little badass compound bow beginner kits. Of course, the first month I went around our land sticking arrows in anything that could get stuck by an arrow. Did you know that a 1955 40 horse Farmall tractor will take 6 rounds before it goes down? Tough sumbich. That got boring, so being the 10 yr.
A Colonial Family’s Reaction to the Stamp Act It was a busy afternoon and the sound of horses stomping and people shouting rang through my ears. Then came the heavy footsteps of Father entering the house. We were a middle class family that lived in a single story house. Our house was small and we had a little farm to raise animals. My brother John and I were silent in the dusty parlor waiting to hear his cheerful voice echo throughout the house.
Dirt Bike Catastrophe Some four years ago on a small loop road, county road 355, hidden somewhere in the weeds was a convolution maze of dirt bike trails. It couldn’t have been but six months since my step brother, Austin and I started riding dirt bikes daily. We were nothing short of motocross eligible teenagers, jumping feet off the ground, sliding every turn, and being so dirty at the end of the day that two showers were necessary. All of these things changed very suddenly in a wreck that changed our lives.
At the age of five years old, I remember riding my pink bike around the park. My mother told me that it was time to take off my training wheels and learn how to ride without them. We took them off and I started pedaling. All of my family members were there telling me to pedal faster. I got going at a speed of what five year old me thought was as fast as a plane.
So I rode my dirt bike on the dirt path so I won’t get hurt. So when my friends got them a four wheeler or a dirt bike we cruise with each other and we don’t go to fast when we riding it because we don’t want to fall off so when I was enjoying myself my daddy had to take my four wheeler and dirt bike to a shop because it had broken down because I was riding it every day. So it got out of the shop my daddy let my dirt bike and
Although there are many things you could do. There are many things you can’t do. I thought I couldn’t do bull riding, but in this story you will find out. I have always loved bull riding and wanted to do it
The Day I “Stole” Steve’s Bike Here I am, sitting in a jail cell on a not so normal Saturday. Oh, by the way, I am Jim West. I am 45 years old and still live with my mother, in San Dimas, California.
I was in 4th grade going to 5th grade I was a big kid now. I could do whatever dad could do. If he could ride a four wheeler in the forest I could to. My Dad gave the ok to this idea, and my Mom, well she finally went along with a nervous look on her face.
Remember to always pay attention to the surroundings. To begin, when I was 8 years old my mom and dad decided I was old enough to have a dirt bike. It was a crf 70f. “At age 5 or 6, they can be zipping around without training wheels and even taking small jumps on small dirt bikes” (Dirt Bike Planet). The second I rode it I was in love.
Trees stood underneath, but there was one Treaty Oak Tree that stood out. This tree had think branches and it was as big as a circus tent. The trees had a strong scent and there was a faint smell of Orange Blossom’s in the distance. Tiny bugs flew into my mouth as the plane zoomed through the air.
Back in 8th Grade, there is a car contest in my physics class. Which is to built a car that uses the balloon as the engine, and see who’s car can travel farthest distance. Like usual, I am so excited when I heard the contest, I want to win! Once I heard the contest, i begin to draw all my ideas I had to build the car. My first idea is to use big plastic plates to build the wheels.
One incident I can recount when I experienced failure was when I joined Cross Country. Since, I can remember I have always excelled at everything I did, from my academics to dance class to music lessons. When I entered into my freshman year of high school, I decided I would to join an athletic team in order to keep myself occupied outside of academics. I figured joining a sport would be another good attribute to add to my resume.
I still remember the day I got my first car. It was one of the most exciting, yet terrifying days of my life. I remember my mom asking me where I was because I was in school that day and began to freak out because she told me that I was going to get a car soon. The moment I saw my new car was breathtaking. What I was seeing before me was beyond even my imagination for what I wanted.
My First Car The first I ever had was an old model of the brand Toyota. It was color blue and was second-hand so I got it at a cheaper price. For a second-hand car, it was in a really good condition.
I was finally stepping outside my comfort zone learning to ride a bike. The most memorable time in my life was the time my dad taught me how to ride my first bike. At the age of six he taught me the basics of riding a bike. Along with rules that were set in order to help me be responsible with my bike. I learned to ride a bike without training wheels.
