In the music video for Twenty One Pilots’ song Stressed Out the artists use rhetorical devices to connect with their audience. The speaker, or main singer, is trying to communicate to the audience (listeners) that growing has resulted in being stressed out and has a nostalgia for childhood. The credibility of the music video comes from the many people who have heard this song played countless times over the radio and even in places of business and grew to become familiar with the name of the artist, Twenty One Pilots.
Around age 10 my dad got me one of those little badass compound bow beginner kits. Of course, the first month I went around our land sticking arrows in anything that could get stuck by an arrow. Did you know that a 1955 40 horse Farmall tractor will take 6 rounds before it goes down? Tough sumbich. That got boring, so being the 10 yr.
Dirt Bike Catastrophe Some four years ago on a small loop road, county road 355, hidden somewhere in the weeds was a convolution maze of dirt bike trails. It couldn’t have been but six months since my step brother, Austin and I started riding dirt bikes daily. We were nothing short of motocross eligible teenagers, jumping feet off the ground, sliding every turn, and being so dirty at the end of the day that two showers were necessary. All of these things changed very suddenly in a wreck that changed our lives.
At the age of five years old, I remember riding my pink bike around the park. My mother told me that it was time to take off my training wheels and learn how to ride without them. We took them off and I started pedaling. All of my family members were there telling me to pedal faster. I got going at a speed of what five year old me thought was as fast as a plane.
Ever since that day, and many, many horses later, I have been passionate about horses. I began going to local fun shows, where I would show in mainly pleasure classes. It gave me a great foundation of how to ride a horse correctly. I won many awards on my pleasure horse and really enjoyed doing it, but as I got older, I began to have a need for speed. With this being said, I started entering the speed classes.
I was in 4th grade going to 5th grade I was a big kid now. I could do whatever dad could do. If he could ride a four wheeler in the forest I could to. My Dad gave the ok to this idea, and my Mom, well she finally went along with a nervous look on her face.
"Hey boss, how far do you think we'll get today?" , I asked. "We'll keep going until the sun sets", the trail boss said with an annoyed look on his face. This being my first cattle drive, I didn't know what to expect or what it was going to be like. I also didn't get much respect.
Remember to always pay attention to the surroundings. To begin, when I was 8 years old my mom and dad decided I was old enough to have a dirt bike. It was a crf 70f. “At age 5 or 6, they can be zipping around without training wheels and even taking small jumps on small dirt bikes” (Dirt Bike Planet). The second I rode it I was in love.
Then, when I was struggling with the materials to make my wheels, my cousin throw a water bottle to me. This inspired me to use water bottle’s cap as the wheels. What a great
Riding a dirt bike is truly something special, because they give you the freedom to ride with only a twist of the wrist and the steering of the handlebars. These machines can provide thrills that last for hours and distract from the rest of the world. Learning new skills leaves you feeling great and makes you look awesome at the same time. Hopping on a dirt bike will not only build strength physically, but also mentally by boosting energy levels and enhancing mental outlook. Considering these points riding dirt bikes is my favorite activity.
Life on the road Travel the miles till your are back home I am a Service Technician for a manufacturing comapny, and as such my job does requires a flexible travel schedule. I loved driving ATVs as a child, but sometimes I forgot how young I really was. I had just finished grade four and I was spending a few days at my grandparents on their farm. One thing I loved doing while I was at their house was driving around on the quad, and I loved this so much because it made me feel like I was a grown-up. But because I was only ten at the time, and the quad they had was a rundown farm quad drom the early 1980’s, my Grandma would not let me leave the yard with it. I begged my Grandma to allow me out into the fields; I begged and begged but her answer remained a no.
I didn 't ever want to go back on that bike again but my brother encouraged me to do it so one day I grabbed the bike and I got on it and forgot all about the fact that the training wheels were off I rode it and I didn 't fall from that day on I rode my bike and I 'd fall here and there but I kept on doing it till I didn 't anymore if I 'd never gotten the courage to

We were at the park looking down a trail that looked longer than usual. I knew it was time to learn how to balance without training wheels. I was scared, even though I knew my dad wouldn’t steer me wrong. At that moment I knew I wouldn’t mind having my training wheels on a little longer, even if the rest of my friends didn’t. But with the help of my dad I was balancing my bike in no time.
