A day in the summer there was a football game played at Kimberly’s turf located in Kimberly Wisconsin. A 7th grade Kimberly football team was playing another great team called the Neenah Rockets they had a massive running back that had this bushy mustache and they had a pretty fast good throwing quarterback. The Neenah rockets had great talent but so did Kimberly. This game was going to be a great one, cold fans crowded the stands eating fresh popcorn and very chocolatey hot chocolate in very white cups as the game started it was 0-0 after the first 4 and a half quarters and in the last minutes something big happens when we are on defense… WORK ON Before the game started we were in warm ups doing frankenstein's, lounges, karaoke, and four’s etc.
It was six o 'clock at the Friendswood junior high mustang field I was playing strong safety and I had to cover the extra receiver they brought out by the snap I was already beating my man and the next thing I know the ball was sailing my way straight to me. I am 13 years old and I am on the Friendswood junior high C-football team I am a second string slot receiver and starting strong safety
It was a hot, grueling day in my hometown of Midland, Texas. The temperature outside was one hundred and two degrees with about thirty percent humidity. As the final school bell rang to signal the end of the day, hundreds of students rushed outside into their vehicles to turn their air conditioning on. The football players all migrated towards their locker room. It was the beginning of hell for the Midland Lee Rebel Football
December 3 2015 was the Newton Railers seventh grade basketball team second away game. I was waiting all day for the basketball game it seemed like the day was endless. Finally 2:50 came up on the clock to let me know it was time to leave class and get ready to get on the bus. I got all my gear and got on the bus. I put my headphones on a got pumped for our game.
We left because my dad wanted to, and right as we left Denard Robinson the QB scored a touchdown and they won. After the game we went back to Michigan state campus because it was so far from my house and it was dinnertime. We went to buffalo wild wings and got the 50 basket of wings.
Cedarwood 's mascot had raced out into the field followed by its team. The boo’s and the hollers had become so immense that the referee had to blow his whistle shouting inaudible words to the audience. After a couple of minutes, however, the coin was tossed and the game began. The game began quickly as did the rain.
It was a beautiful Saturday in Miami Gardens, Florida at the Sun Life Stadium on September 19 . That night there was a big game: The Miami Hurricanes and The Nebraska Cornhuskers battle it out on the football field. The game ended, but the score was tied. Both teams went into overtime. A while after, my mom and I went in search of more seats. This turned out to fruitless journey, because I refused to sit in any of them. So we traveled back up all those escalators and returned back to the balcony. Now tired of standing and just waiting for the game to be over, I decided to try and sit in the seats again. So, slowly and carefully I shuffled over to my seat and sat down and gripped the armrest tightly.
Everyone is going through the streets as fast as they can to get good seats and get tickets before they sell out. All of our fans are here and gathered here for kickoff. As I was walking into the press box I see the men go onto the field! I quickly rush out of the press box to find out what they were doing. I see them go into the tunnel where the players will soon be coming out of.
A Fun Weekend with Austin This weekend my friend Austin and I attended the Bettendorf vs. Pleasant Valley football game as well as just hanging out with some more friends. Before the game started Austin and I chowed down on some delicious burgers and fries whiled we waited eagerly for the game to start. After the first play of the game, Austin and I thought it was going to be a blow out because the Bettendorf kick returner ran it 80 yards to the Pleasant Valley 15 yard-line.
It was probably 14-2 by now. I realized in that moment, it would be all my fault if we lost the game. I knew what I had to do. I played the game. It was a cold October night when I got hurt.
In early September my family and I took a trip up to State College, Pennsylvania for the Rutgers Penn State game. Even though it was not the outcome I wanted for my Scarlet Knights, we still had a great time. Just being there for only a couple minutes, I quickly learned that when you travel for an away game with your desired sports team, you are going to feel like the minority. Kickoff was at eight o’clock in the evening, so that meant my day started at eleven in the morning in “Happy Valley.”
The popular home team broke out from their tight huddle and separated throughout the field. Their anguished faces concentrated on the last quarter; they are only 5 points up. The earnest and intoxicating energy transfers into the equally tense crowd. The fierce competition begins to boil up into the fans. Someone yells a blind comment within the rage and before anyone knows it, fights break out throughout the crowd.
As it got closer to game time the stadium just kept getting louder. As the game was close to starting both teams were back in their locker rooms. As both teams left the field I started to eat my pretzel and it was extremely salty tasting so I had to scrape off the salt and eat it that way and it tasted pretty good. I then ate the hotdog and it might have had been better than a baseball game hotdog, the ketchup made it taste as good as it did. A few minutes after I finished the hotdog the Lions came running out of their locker room onto the field.
“Do your job.” A simple quote by Bill Belichick (New England Patriots Head Football Coach) but this quote means a lot about my character. The reason it means a lot to me is because if you work tremendously hard and do your job your team will be successful. My head football coach, Mike Rowe uses this quote as well and adds “If everybody does your job you will be successful.
