As I am quickly approaching the end of my senior, I am looking back at how far I have come since freshman year and everything that Henley High School has helped me accomplish in my life. In preparation for the life that every senior must experience after school, the senior capstone project was put in place to help seniors find out what they would suit them as career and give them some of the necessary tools in achieving that. Part of the capstone was earning service hours at a non profit organization, that can go on a resume. With serving came a facilitator, who guides one’s service, and also the challenges and success of the service itself. To Provide help on future careers, Henley High School also provided an opportunity to take the CIS test
Everyone has events in their lives that have significant impacts on them. These particular events are what help shape people into who they are. In my life, one of these events was when I committed to play baseball at Mississippi State University. This event has caused important changes in my baseball career, social life, and my academics. Committing to MSU was a great moment in my life and it has changed my life considerably.
William Corbett College Admissions Essay In my life I have had numerous opportunities that have made me who I am today. My most revolutionary and life changing event is Guggenheim, a catholic summer camp that I attended for the last six summers. At Guggenheim I have undergone positive changes in many different aspects of my life. The energy at Guggenheim of 100 people coming together to celebrate their faith through singing, dancing, and praying provokes these positive physical and mental changes.
When I walked out of the room, he should have expected to be greeted by the entire Cataula Family waiting for him to see if he had advanced closer to be the next Planetary Sovereign. However, he never expected to see his daughter off to the side looking ready to hurt someone with tears in her eyes. Everyone on the planet knew there were only a few Viceroys left on the listing for testing. Now that all Twelve Leaders of the Hierarchy conducted the testing as one, family members seldom seen or even known were traveling to the City of the Planetary Sovereigns. He stood tall, removed all emotions from his face, and stormed forward.

In life, many events can contribute to the way we act, the way we think and the choices we make. Essentially, a person goes through certain life changing events that may leave a huge imprint on their lives. Some changes can be very microscopic leaving little to no impression at all . However, other events such as , getting married, having a baby, or graduating college can change someone 's life drastically. For me, the life-changing event that changed my life was moving to Jacksonville Florida.
If I were to ask a group of individuals who contributed to their growth as a professional many would point to their mentor that they valued the most. But what if we never received the same type of mentorship, counseling, or coaching? Throughout my nine year career, I was unfortunate to have a toxic leader that would follow me and remain my supervisor. Even though this leader was a toxic arrogant leader, he contributed greatly to my success as a professional. Ironically the contribution of my success is not owed to the most competent, efficient leader but it is owed to an arrogant incompetent leader.
The trip to Ameritowne impacted my life because Ameritowne taught me how jobs are fun and how to do them. I have changed from this experience because it
Changes sometimes happen so you can learn important life lessons. When something bad happens in your life you tend to think about the negative side. You never think about the positive things because you automatically think it happened to make your life worse. In this essay I’m going to tell you about me moving, meeting my best friend, and going to Mexico and pretty much living there for three months.
I played soccer sophomore and junior year in high school. My sophomore year was actually the first year I played soccer in a official team that I had to try out. But actually, my junior year I was chosen as a team captain and as a team captain I had to lead practice, starting with warm ups and stretches to leading them on the field and yelling my lungs out. Sometimes practice was rough to the point the girls wanted to give up but I always motivated them to do better and try their hardest because at the end of the day you were only cheating yourself or benefiting yourself. When my coach had to leave early for work, instead of finishing practice early, I continued to lead practice even if it meant taking the huge bag of balls home with me and
An event in my life that has helped shape me as a person would have to be when my family started doing foster care. When I was in 6th grade we got our first set of foster kids. Luckily enough we were able to adopt them. From then on we have had two other sets of kids who either went back to their parents or switched foster homes. Each set of kids brought wonderful new meanings to my life.
In my sophomore year of high school, I had the opportunity to make a real change in the world. My 10th grade English teacher gave us an assignment to chose a organization of our choosing that is helping a cause that we feel needs more attention. We were then told that we would have to present our cause to a small group of people and try and convince them to support our cause financially. I saw this as the best opportunity to actually walk through life and know that I actually changed something in the world for the better. I also saw it as an opportunity that I could feel accomplished about.
The online personal leadership assessment helped me identify my leadership style, strengths, and weaknesses. My leadership style results identified me as a creative builder. I scored a 24 out of 25 on being a creative builder and with a 23 out of 25 in being a people mover. I scored the lowest as an advocate, at a 13 out of 25. This leadership assessment made me reflect on my capacity, but it also allowed me to analyze areas where I can grow.
Leadership interview I was given the chance to interview Hailey Hunt who has a position on student council. She taught me about her position and how she has been able to help others. She has taught me the many sides of being a leader and how it can be quite trying at times. I have found interviewing a leader is very different from researching about a leader.
Personal Narrative Essay Believe it or not, sometimes a gracious action can bring a huge influence on a person. When I read the introduction that instructor Heller wrote, there is a sentence she wrote: “Sometimes the most influential moments in our lives are smaller moments, events that we may not recognize as influential until years after the experience.” For some reason, I related to it strongly. My story is about my high school experience. Also, I will share some significant moments in my life, and how these smaller moments changed my personality.
