A time when I thought I could not do something was when I thought I couldn’t make it to the Junior Olympics when I was eight years old. I thought I couldn’t make it because I was young, unexperienced, and not confident. Get Ready, Get Set, to explore why I thought I couldn’t make it to the Junior Olympics in 2007. I thought I couldn’t make it to the Junior Olympics because I was young. I was only eight years old when I ran in the Districts and Regionals. The other girls I competed against were older than me. They weren’t that much older than me because I had to run with eight and under. The girls that were older than me were only older by a couple of months.
