When I think of Dr. King, I always think about how he never let anyone stop him from doing what he believed was right. He always stood up for those who were discriminated against, but he never resorted to violence. This reminds me of a situation I encountered involving someone bullying my friend. I was in 8th grade at the time, and one of our classmates was bullying her on a daily basis. He though he was just joking around with her not even realizing that his words and actions were severely affecting her. When she told me how she felt about all of this, I knew I couldn’t just let it continue and do nothing about it. She was not strong enough to stand up for herself.
