Personal Narrative Essay: A Trip To The Beach

Last year, my family and I went to the beach after a long time. I was eager to get into the beach as soon as we parked at the beach house. The climate was wonderful and there wasn´t a crisping sun, but some tender clouds that cushioned the sunlight. I knew the beach houses were full because the renter told us, but you could also say from the number of cars at the place. When I approached the sand, the coastline only had like 4-6 people, and that was very suspicious, since the water was perfect to relax as the waves went by and crashed against the coast. I was ready to get into the sea, when a delighting ray jumped out of the sea and the rest of my afternoon was soon to change. Despite the event, I just waited for 1 hour, and took advantage of that time to tell my sister about the stingray that I saw jumping. Attentively, she told me not to get into the sea, because those animals could be dangerous if touched inappropriately. The water seemed to pull me back inside, but as I lifted my legs out of the sea, the water that splashed blinded me till the point that I almost fell. My dad got out of the sea after me, but when I reached the house all of a sudden it was only my sister and I in the room. She asked me, “Why are you that way? Did the curious stingray came to say hi to you?” I was frightened from her terrific guess, and with a giggle I answered, “Oh yes, I saw a few of them, but that´s why we got out.” To my surprise, she answered, “What did I told you before getting in! Plus, dad and you could get hurt.” In that moment, I learned that I should always listen to the advices people tell me, and that despite my sister is still young, she actually had a fundament to support her
