I thought about it day and night. But I knew that at the end of the day I wanted to stand up for people who couldn't like my mother. I wanted to pursue justice and I was going to give everything to make that possible. I was going to join the “Sons of Liberty”. This day will never be forgotten. It was November 3rd, 1773. First, I didn’t really know what to expect. Everything was new to me and I had a lot to learn. I couldn't tell my friends because it could potentially put them in danger. I had to lie to my friends that I wasn’t in the group. It was hard at first lying to people, but then it was just a routine that I did over and over again. After a while it became a habit. We met at a local building downtown Boston. It was like a storage place but to be honest I really didn’t know what it was.

As more and more ships of the British came, the more power the British would claim. We talked and talked about what they would do. Soon, We began to work something like maybe war or anything like that. We wanted our own independence. I thought that if we went to war I can start my own family and start a new life. Well at least after the war. I wanted to join the war! All the things leading up to the war. Like Concord and Lexington we lost. All the blood coming out of people’s leg. As I shot my gun or just reloaded every time I thought of every morning that my mom made my tea. All the times as a child. These things in my mind made me angier. Every cold harsh winter we faced. ¾ of the people didn’t even have SHOES! Some died of frostbites, some amputated their legs. It was devastating for us
