I decided to give my mom contractions for three days straight before I was born. She had to stay at the hospital for five days because I did not want to come out. I caused her a lot of pain and bills. I decided to come into this world at 1:32 a.m. on December 13 1997, on a cold and snowy day. I was born in Denver Colorado at Denver General Hospital. My parents decided to name me Alejandra, I have asked my mom multiple times why she named me“Alejandra” but she never tells me. I was an only child for four years, which were wonderful,I had a lot of toys and played with my cousins all the time, but my mom wanted a bigger family. I have a sister who was born four years after me, her name is Ximena Gomez. Unlike me, she was born on a hot summer, June 17, 2002. Senior year was waiting impatiently to graduate and go to college. But it was also one of the best and worst year of my teenage years. It was great because I got accepted to different universities, I became a better person, learned new things, met new people, set some goals, and I was preparing myself for the future. But the bad thing was that I was growing up and I had to face reality. I learned that change is inevitable, and time flys by, and you can never recover the time you lost that is why you have to enjoy life to the maximum and sometimes things do not turn out the way you want. I went to the University of Texas at San Antonio and I got my Bachelors in Business Management and a Masters in Philosophy. My college years were the best years of my life, not only did I accomplish my dreams, I also got to do an internship in Germany where I learned and experienced new things and I also met my husband there. We met at a conference and fell in love immediately. After my internship was over he decided to follow me to the United States and have a life
