“Are you ok?” I asked with concern. “Yeah,” she said, “I am tired.” “I know but we have to keep going, it will get dark soon and we don’t want to be out here while it is dark,” I said with a sigh. The sun started to go down and we still had to find shelter to stay warm. The creature is still out there somewhere, hopefully far away. I still couldn’t figure out what that thing was. It was covered in black and I couldn’t make out its face. I took Kelly’s cold little hand that had some scratches on it. I pulled her over to two trees that were skin and close together. I could build a shelter out of branches like how I learned at school. I grabbed one big branch and slid it into some tree branches that were attached to the tree. “Here Kelly, you can wear my sweater.” She took it and grabbed it around her body. “Kelly you go and lie down in the shelter I made. “Ok,” she said with a shaky voice. “I will be looking for some berries,” I said in gentle voice. I picked up a bunch of branches and made an X every 10 feet, so I wouldn’t get lost again. I started to run and I stopped at every bush looking for berries or a tree with apples.
