There was a man who didn’t get drafted in the NFL and he didn’t understand why. He loved the NFL and wanted to go down that path. He prayed to God and asked for a sign, but he didn’t get a huge billboard sign. The man had a chance to go with the Canadian Football League. He still had his sights set on the NFL and he didn’t care if he had to learn a new position, as long as he was able to play in the NFL.
Almost there ….. 5 yards ….. Time to bring home the trophy! These thoughts race in your mind, but suddenly, a colossal 18 years old, 6’4, 250 pound high schooler is the only obstacle between you and the end zone. He rams into you hard, so hard that not only does the ball fall out of your hand, but you feel as if the ground has been pulled under you.
The NFL is portrayed in the media show that the NFL players in their uniforms and portray them to be very happy and wealthy and enjoying their lives. The media also shows how NFL players get all the girls and show their high profile divorces or their criminal cases. The NFL shows young prospective player that in order to be a part of their league they must be the best of the best or go home. What that says about the NFL is that they are very competitive and it is not an easy journey to try to be a part of their team. The message it conveys to people is that if you get buff and you throw around a football you can be just like the NFL players and have all the money, cars and women.
When I first thought about how soccer impacted my life, nothing really came to mind. I was that kid who mostly looked forward to the end of the game snacks and bringing around the goal jar. But when I actually began thinking about more about playing soccer I realized that soccer was the first place where I was fully submerged into something completely new. I learned how to make friends, how be a leader, and how to have good sportsmanship. These are all things that have made me into the person I am today and it all began on the soccer field.

It wasn't until August 20, 1920, when the National Football League was founded and became a national sport. Football has become a big part of American culture and has evolved dramatically in the way it is played. Not only has the sport itself changed with its rules, equipment, and playing fields, but also with the bodily injuries that come with it. Playing high school football does more bad than good. The odds are extremely slim for football becoming a career for high school students, yet it still is extremely popular. However, even though excelling in academics is what would help their lives in the long run, students continue to play a sport which hurts their school performance.

Football is a very popular sport. I only played football for two years, but I still very much so believe I am literate in football. I started out just being a huge fan of football, but I decided when I was a junior in high school to start actually playing. When I was a younger kid, I looked up to the high schoolers like they were NFL players. I always dreamed about playing under the lights on friday night. Football now is a whole different story. All of the persistence and hardship of losing has finally payed off. I am now starting on a team that is going for their sixth state-championship in a row.

My soccer career Soccer is all about the team. A community of people where the success of each individual depends on the efforts of all, and vice versa. Therefore, it is not possible to become a successful player if you are an egoist or egomaniac. The most essential quality of player’s soul is a keen sense of community, fellowship with friends, a feeling that you are a part of a pack. You can be sociable or closed, erudite or ignorant, with a great sense of humor or even without it – but it is impossible not be a part of the team.
