Hi, I 'm Evelyn, Evelyn Giron to be exact. I come from a very small town, with a very big and bad reputation. West New York, people think it is rather dangerous, or that the students aren 't as smart. Well, to everyone that thinks that, I want to prove you wrong. I have a strong belief that I will succeed as an author and entrepreneur. I have big dreams, yes, I know, but I 've been wanting this since I was a little 5 year old. I 've always been a bright kid, and I 'm not just saying this to be cocky, even though I may seem like it. I 've just been told so many times to the point where I started to believe it. I don 't know what it is, but the feeling of committing ink to paper is very satisfying. I want to become an author that teens like myself look at and think to themselves that I helped them see the better side in life. That 's exactly what I want to do. I want to wow people with my words and show them, there really is a good side to the world. It 's not just hatred and pain, even though it may seem like that. But before I become this huge and successful author, I have to be successful first. Am I right or am I right? I think I 'm right, haha. I want to come to this high school and show the world who Evelyn really is. To some, I 'm a masculine and big dog that roams by itself but then they really meet me. Now don 't get me wrong, I 'm still a very masculine and independent girl, some people just get the wrong vibes from me. I like to surround myself with people with a variety of backgrounds and interests. I want to show you, the person that is reading this, that I can do it. I can, I know I can and when I 'm signing books to my young readers in a small, well kept library, I 'm going to thank you.
