Good afternoon Ms. Gia Plewa-Bohannon, I am writing this to inform you that I have recently changed my name from Savdeep Kaur to Savdeep Kaur Hothi, and in order for my name change request to be processed, I need to send documents to you as well as to the NJ State Department of Education. However, all the forms will be considered completed only if they are notarized. I would be most grateful if you could indicate a convenient time to meet you during this or next week. Thanking you
According to Lizbeth, Erika has had difficulty advocating for herself since high school. Erika is strong academically but doesn't have the skills to make new friends and is not surprised that she is having difficulty connecting with other students or activities on campus. We would like to make an appointment for her to visit her EOP counselor so she can discuss how ease the transition into campus life at UCSC and reduce her visits to Oakland. Can we set-up a time
On Sunday 01/08/17 at 0312 hours I was dispatched to a physical domestic at 1551 8th ST NE apartment #A in the City of Auburn, King Co, WA. Dispatch advised the reporting person, Amanda Silverman, stated she there was a physical fight with pushing between she and her ex-boyfriend, Kalvin Rutagengwa. I met with Amanda outside her apartment. Amanda said at about 0210 hours Kalvin, who she had been dating for the past year and half, came to her residence. Amanda explained Kalvin did not live with her, but he was invited tonight.
Crackle, pop the fire sounded as I placed new logs on top of the hot embers. This was the fire the children of my village sat around and told stories before they went to sleep, and tonight was no different. All of their eyes stared at me expectantly as they waited for me to start telling them a story. “Two Rivers Running, tell us the Story of the Great Battle again,” the little ones asked. All eyes were on me as I sat down next to them, everyone silent as I told them the story of the Great Battle.
When I think about the person I am today I think about the people that have helped raise me. We all grow up with different experiences, environments, lifestyles, and people in our lives who help shape who we are. One person that has made a big impact in my life would be my nana and her name is Bea Wilson. She has been in my life since the moment I was born. My nana has shown me that you can make something good out of bad situation.
“Betty, go up to the stand.” I was startled back to reality by John, who was looking over at me, waiting for me to get up. I hesitated, but once I realized what was happening, I started to use my youth to my advantage. On the way to the stand, I started to make myself cry. I knew that me crying would persuade everyone to believe me.
The new American hero (Just a quick look) Can you see the handsome young man sitting by my side, driving through the forest, behind the wheel of his decadent truck? Yes. I would trust him with my life (sip of vodka).
The sun glistened in the daybreak and a dark figure appeared on the foreground, and moved gracefully across the pathway, nearing the bench that presided at my side. My eyes scoured upward as he neared and the sun blinded me, but not before I saw the figure, a man, glance my direction and change his course. He was wrapped in an opaque tunic that countered the illuminated color of his hair, it was a halcyonic gold that glistened against the flare of day. His trousers were khaki color that exalted the man’s frame. Once my eyes cleared and I was able to open them the man was closer than before and I was able to see his face much more clearly.
Well this weekend kicked off with a great start. Starting with my basketball dominating at our game. I actually scored a basket for once and played good defense. It was a very frustrating game having people yell at me from all sides. Though in the end we played a great game even with a few bumps along the way.

Lani: I was helping for someone’s project for COMM 245; I was in the video lab, in the studio. I was on campus and decided to contact everyone I knew who comes to the school. I remember I sent out a snap saying guys I think there is a shooting, be careful and then I started sending out individual texts to people making sure they were okay, like hey are you good? Stay out of an area.
Today was another busy but fulfilling day. I got checked off with my head-to-toe assessment. I followed my regular nurse, Nurse Clea. Since I mostly knew the routines of my patients, I started by doing rounds. I checked my patients one by one to see if they were stable and responsive.
I discovered this job by reference from another worker from your establishment named Franco. He described there was an opening as a dishwasher, so I would like to work part time. I researched your restaurant and found it had fairly good reviews thus furthering my interest towards this job. I had a previous job as a waiter/washer at a different and less known restaurant that I was laid off from because it shut down. However I was told that if they had an employee of the month system that I would surely be on it.
I used to be so oblivious. I would attend school every day and criticize my surroundings, little did I know how much I actually had. Come junior year, I observed a flyer for a club called S.A.L.T. (Student-Athlete Leadership Team), it seemed interesting to me so I decided to fill out an application. During our first meeting at 6:45 in the morning, Coach Jones, the head of the club, explained, “I did not cut anyone since you will cut yourself, you will give up and you will not want to put the work in, so you will stop coming.
In my brief life, I have overcome a lot of adversity. My mom fled Mexico with her three young children to escape domestic violence. When we came to this country we had only a few personal belongings and the promise of a better future. We came to this country and lived in a small trailer with no toilet other than a bucket, and no shower except for the one that was lent to us from the kindness of a stranger, our new neighbor. As a single parent, my mother had to work day and night to support us.
