1994 was a big year for dodge and Cummins, this year diesel emission regulations would be imposed by the government, and the 12 Valve would go from having a classic rotary pump to an intercooled P7100 pump; the reason for the pump change was for lower emissions. This pump was more precise fuel and timing control which made it more efficient but leaving the power and producing less smoke. But soon after this pump was introduced it would be replaced with a VE44 pump, due to the mechanical malfunction of the P7100 pump. The 12 Valve was in the era of the square body style which is referred to as a first generation. Currently the first gen is highly sought after by young Cummins enthusiast.

Diving in the Trash To some people dumpster diving is like being a kid in a candy store, never knowing what they might find can be exciting for some. For others hearing that someone dumpster dives, they might wish for a giant bottle of disinfectant. The Two articles, Down in the Dumpster by Christina Nelleman and Lars Eighner show different sides to dumpster diving. Christina Nelleman the author of the first article could be a student by the five paragraph format and the use of smiles and metaphor throughout the article. One example could be where she describes how “one man’s garbage is another man’s gold.”

One day while heading to my car from leaving work, I notice a homeless man near the dug out of the baseball field where I parked my car. He was playing with a harmonica. I notice how wonderful he sounded, so I complimented him and gave him a tip. It was only a dollar but he reacted as if it was one hundred dollars. He was so happy, he asked if he could sing a song for me and I replied Yes!
As a child, I lived in fear because of traumatic experiences. Starting in fifth grade, I witnessed a social worker take my cousin, from my arms, into the foster system. Afterward, I was terrified of being taken away until the end of my freshman year because I had social workers in my life. Once the social workers were gone, the fear of losing my loved ones began. During ninth grade, my mom discovered she had a spinal tumor and needed surgery.

As I began the journey of returning to school, one of my biggest fears, was the writing aspect in the classes. The fear of reading and writing has never been a strong quality; however, I have never able to successfully be creative in the way I learn. I understand my weaknesses and when I need to focus on my strengths. I am constantly learning new ways, skills, and tools to utilize to continue to grow as a writer. Focusing on my strengths allows me to have the security that I can be a good writer.
This essay will discuss the statement by William James, “-whilst part of what we perceive comes through our senses but another part (and it may be the larger part) always comes out of our head.” (James, 1890). This excerpt relates to the topic of perception, which can be defined as the acquisition and processing of sensory information to see, hear, taste, or feel objects, whilst guiding an organism’s actions with respect to those objects (Sekuler & Blake, 2002). Every theory of perception begins with the question of what features of the surrounding environment can be apprehended through direct pickup (Runeson et al. 2000). Is it only vague elemental cues that are available, and development and expansion through cognitive processes is required
After submitting this the progress report will be considered complete I will still need to hear back from you so that is why I put it at
One of my experiences with failure took place when I was in fourth grade. There were many problems accumulated and I was a child who needed people to see if I did my homework or study for the test, because I couldn’t concentrate and was distracted by anything in the room. My brother also had problems that year, he needed more attention because he didn’t get along with his math teacher and my Mom was always after him with the homework; otherwise he would have failed Math at the end of the year. In fourth grade, the teacher that was assigned to us was one of the strict teachers that were in that school
