Elvis Williams was a mystery, he was always a mystery. Maybe even an unnoticed story that was yet to have its pages turned to the very end. Elvis Williams, the boy with a chiseled jawline and ashy blonde scruffy haircut that seemed to cause girls' hearts to race. The boy whose gracefulness on the football field impressed everybody in our suburb. The boy whose misty hazel eyes hid a dark secret nobody expected to find in a million years. It feels strange to talk about a guy I hardly knew but I saw enough of him roaming around the school grounds daily. I didn't find it difficult to understand why people thought he had a rather misunderstood personality. Of course Bridgeton Collage erupted into a fiery field of words after the incident had occurred. I started going over all my rather pointless problems I knew I was facing in life when I could feel Cat's body tense immediately near me. I looked up and could feel a cool, crisp wind stroke my face gently. I was confused and thought Cat was mucking around. "Yo, are you just going to stand there or are we just going to end up getting home late, you know we start sch -" I cut myself off as I realised we were near the set of goalposts. My father used to tell me stories about how young boys used to play ball in park during the afternoons and sometimes straight through the night. Cat kept her distance as I slowly made my way towards the goalpost. It was almost half - past nine and whilst there was still enough light coming through the starry night, I could still feel that bright light was beginning to slowly fade away.
