Mark Twain had once said, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.” This phrase can be looked upon in several different aspects. It could be looked as though he was talking about winning a game, getting the job you have always wanted, facing your biggest fear, or fighting for the people you love. The way I see it is to defeat the fear that is holding you back from the world beyond. Whether the fear is irrational or logical, everyone has at least a few fears. Each puppy had a different color collar so we called them based by their collars even though they really did have names. My sister, Elaina, coaxed, “The orange one is nice and kind.” Kaitlyn, my other sister, disagreed, “The pink one is friendly and playful.” My mom asked, “Meghan, which one do you want?” Right then, the pink one hopped up on the couch and cuddled with me.
