In a Scenario like this I would direct everybody to the lab quietly without making any noise. Once we arrive to the lab my best friend will lock all doors as the professor and I start to look for metal bars, bubble wrap, masks, goggles, and scissors. Once we've found the materials I'll give everybody a roll of bubble wrap to wrap themselves with just incase the zombie bites them it wouldn't hit their flesh. Then they would put on the mask and goggles just in case the zombies' blood splash, it wouldn't get in their mouth, eyes or other openings. The metal bar is going to be the best tool to stab the zombie in the head with but the scissors will be there as a back up tool. Once everybody is ready my best friend will
Mckenna, I too wrote about the mindless monster and the negative effects it can have on someone. It's crazy to think about the lengths people will go to please someone and will overwork themselves to make sure others are happy. I believe that the only way to be truly happy is to make sure you're good first. The other aspect I agree with was your point on body language. That is something I need to work on a lot as well.
I begin with a sunset, as in the poem the sunset is a metaphor for death. I have myself waking up and realizing it was dark as though I am realizing I am close to death. I refuse to accept this getting up and turning on the light. The light is turned off several times and I have to fight to keep it on and keep living. When it stays on l look for what is turning it off I am subsequently chased down the stairs by an ambiguous being or force.
Speaking of zombies, makes us think. What if this were to happen in a few years, I would like to be prepared. I live in California, home of earthquakes. When family and friends visit, I am always asked if I have the necessary essentials in case a big earthquake hit. I sadly say no.
In man’s eyes, zombies are hostile to human nature and can potentially wreak wreck nations. Though it is not definite, the idea of a widespread of the undead eradicating entire species populates from horror films and novels, promoting danger and enhancing terror to the public. In fear of the scenario, humans gather information in preparation for the apocalyptic era. In hope’s to resolve the situation, many great minds guide readers to salvage through literature, often with irrelevant information one can justify. Using their distraction against them, James and his team dispatch the zombies and rescue the two survivors inside the home. Much of the Marines’ success in dealing with the zombie threat is based on their applying the same defensive and teamwork based principles used by any military unit in their day to day survival. They set security perimeters, operate in teams and follow the day to day routines that help establish a sense of normality in chaotic situations (Gunther, 2013).
A Ghostly Spark Introduction (reveal): Native American culture has always been an interest of mine. Since my beginning with the Boy Scouts of America on my path to Eagle Scout, I have come closer to the dense but often forgotten history of the First Nation people of America. Upon joining the Order of the Arrow, the BSA’s honor society centered around Native American virtues and beliefs, I have continued to take it upon myself to learn more about the long forgotten Native history. While I knew about the general struggles the Native Americans faced as “white man” invaded the unharnessed Western frontier, I had not learned about the specific catalyzing incidents that caused such conflict and suffered between these two cultures. While searching through topics like native music and combat, I knew I needed an event that sparked the rift between these two types of people, growing U.S. government and early
My Day of the Dead project is inspired by someone that I knew and sadly died a tragic death. Her name was Pamela Graddick. She was twenty-six years old and was like older sister to me. She was murdered about four years ago and there has been no justice for her. Pamela has knew me her whole life.
Artist Statement In general, we chose zombies as the monster we wanted to write about. We chose short story as the medium and used it to demonstrate our ideas. Our project took a critical view of social and political issues.
