Personal Narrative: My Experience At Las Vegas

Are you afraid of flying on planes? More than 20 million people are apprehensive of boarding planes and unfortunately I’m one of them. My mom, dad, sister, Harman, and I climbed on the plane at MCI. We were off to Las Vegas. I know that Las Vegas is an odd region to go to with your family, but we went anyways. Las Vegas wasn’t the only place we were going, but it was where the adventure began. After a long and weary ride we had decisively arrived at our first destination. I could feel the sun blazing on my skin. Sweat was dripping down my skin in the 114 degree weather. Impatiently standing were hundreds of people sitting on their luggages waiting to check in. Causally we walked past them and saw the casino. The casino was dim and lit up by all of the games. As we kept walking we saw lots of poker tables with people betting their money. From here on we walked through the casino and ended up at this fancy wooden desk. Sliding the credit card, my dad purchased 4 tickets for the show, which was almost sold out. Evidently we tried to get the best seats, so we could get the best view. KA was later on in the day, so we decided to look around. On the other hand, we visited all of these colorful and energetic casinos and shops until it was time. Enthusiastically, we approached MGM Grand and walked inside of the hotel. In the process of entering, there stood an employe who told us we weren’t allowed to take pictures. Understandably, we nodded and took our seats. Surprisingly, we hadn’t realized that the show had started until we saw people with face and body paint swinging around the room. There were so many of them, I kept turning my head around, but couldn’t keep track of them all. Following that, there were people on the stage acting while the stage was flipping. Astonishingly the stage would move in many different angles. It was fascinating! The show, unfortunately came to an end, so we exited MGM Grand. Outside it had gotten dark and the city was lit up remarkably bright. We meandered around the city, but subsequently, figured out that there wasn’t much we could accomplish. Balked we decided to head back to the Bellagio and just hang out there. We talked and looked explored the hotel a bit, but ended up going to sleep shortly. Increasingly onerous we had to wake up early morning and were driving out to San Francisco. Before we left, we decided to look around the strip one last time.
