Personal Narrative: My First Motor Car

In high school I had no desire to operate a motor vehicle. At the age of fifteen I was eligible for an learner 's permit and I didn 't get it until I was sixteen, and only because my mom forced me to do so. I did not obtain my actual driver 's license until I was eighteen. During the three years that i put this to the side I was not considering the benefits of driving a car such as not having to call and ask my mom to drop me off and pick me up. Then she would tell me that she 's five minutes away when she really was ten. Over this period my friends would then start pulling up to school in bright blue camaros that sparkled when the sun touched it, For mustangs with three hundred horsepower.They were going to each other 's houses without having their parent involvement. The first time he took me driving was quite an experience. He took me driving in a gray 2003 toyota came with a spoiler on the trunk. The interior was filled with grey cloth and it sat five people. The car also jerks sometimes while driving This was his former car and my older brothers current car at the time. The car would go on to become my first car. He took me to the parking lot at shiloh middle school where i attended grades six through eight. That was the first time I had ever been behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. When we went during this time my dad taught me the basics and how to actually move the car I was surprised to find out that the car would move by itself if you changed the gear to drive and reverse. We did continued this same routine about three or four more time but the gap between the sessions would be weeks or a month because my dad is a very busy person. I asked my mom if she could teach me how to dive and she was also busy so she signed me up for driving
