I just got into a relationship and had children, which disappointment to my grandmother, however I did not cause her death the doctor said she had stopped taking her heart regiments. According to (Walsh, 2007) theories that inform our understanding of grief is that normal grief reactions comes from many sources as to anger and blame.
The philosophical perspective is spirituality and religion is a great influence in my family, we are Pentecostal some Baptist and the churches give a going away service with preaching and sing as if it was Sunday service. It was not easy; however realizing that I was a young mother with three young children at the time of my grandmother’s death it was most important for me to keep it together for my children; that is what my grandmother would have expected of me. According to (Walsh, 2007) Adolescents “they can be affected by taking parentification or taking on adult roles and tasks before they’re of age to do so. I learned how to explore new peer relationships which is very important (Walsh, 2007). I utilized my friends at work and mothers who as well as I had children by communicating, volunteering for field trip and nights out with the mothers. According to the Assembly, N. D. (2008) as social worker, I will utilize Competence 2.1.1 Identify as a professional social worker and conduct one accordingly by utilizing the practical behaviors of practice reflection and self-correction to assure continual develop and continuously engage in career life-long learning’s. 2.1.2 Continue to apply social work ethical principles to guide professional practice behavior, recognize and manage personal values in a way that a professional values to guide practice. Lastly, 2.1.7 apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment by untiring conceptual framework to guide the process of assessment, intervention and evaluation of continuing to critique and apply knowledge to the understandings of the person in and the environment.
I will continue to assist individuals to understand that loss can be different types of symbolic loss and continue to professionally utilize the knowledge of education, personal experiences and work experience of professionalism of empathic responses to clients of related issues. Example; awareness of HIV/AIDS or just losing the mobility or functional abilities can mentally affect an individual from ever working
