All the students were in the cafeteria and eating their lunch. A table of boys pulled out Cheez-Its and started to crush them in their hands. All the people around them were asking them to stop, but they didn’t, so I got up and walked over to their table to ask them directly to stop. They looked at me and laughed. The nerves they have!!
One day there was a boy named Skylar, he was 3 years old. He loved to play soccer during anytime he is free. One day, he asked his parents for a new soccer ball. His parents said no and Skylar was really angry. Later on that day, Skylar went to preschool, Skylar was talking to his soccer teammates about how they all were getting a new soccer ball for the upcoming season.
I told my brother “thank god we don’t live near The Child Butcher”. My brother turned towards me and said “You never know The Child Butcher could live right next door to us, he could be your best friend, or your teacher, hell he could be you” said by brother sarcastically. My brother was younger then me by 3 years, we got along well and he was always fun to be with, I love my brother I don’t know what I would do without him. I told my brother “Do you really think that The Child Butcher lives near us?”. He replied “Who knows but the odds of him going for us out of all the families in America are like 1 in

One night after I was sent to bed, I heard something out my window, so of course, I got out of bed to see what it was. It was DB he was throwing rocks at my window. I opened it and he said "come outside I need to tell you something" I said "o-okay,
My personal Artifact is a baseball my son and I caught at the Giants game. It is white, round, has red stitches, and is smooth when new, but when we caught it it was beat up and the blue writing on it was smeared. A baseball is small and light in size. It can be thrown at speeds up to 100 MPH, or hit at at speeds higher than 100MPH, so when playing the game or watching you should be paying attention at all times. A baseball is made of a rubber or cork center, wrapped in yarn very tight, covered by white leather with red stitching around the out side, making it a very hard ball.
Tomorrow is the day that my family and I go to North Carolina to meet my dad’s sister that he has never met. Everyone is really excited that the whole house is going crazy. In the Rosenboom house hold you can never get any peace and quiet other than when everyone goes to bed because my younger brother, Mason, and my two younger sisters, Maddie and Brooklynn, are little fireballs full of energy. Everyone already has their bag pack and they are all ready to go, but I can’t find anything to wear for the next week. So I had to have my older sister, Marika, help me find some clothes
“Let me see your sticks.” Through barred vision and with borrowed gloves I present my stick for inspection, it’s once flourescent tape now caked with dirt. All eyes are present on the midfield, impatiently waiting for the ref to signal the start of both teams’ playoff run. I look to my other midfielders, jockeying for position, waiting to scoop up the ball that pops out from the faceoff. For now, I’m alone.
“If you want a longboard so bad you need to work for it and you can mow peoples lawn or do work around here in the house.” After that I went to my dad and I said, “Dad I need you to teach me how to mow a lawn.” So then after that he showed me how to mow a lawn and after that he said, “Now are you ready to go and ask the other neighbors if they want you to mow their lawn and earn some money” Anyway after that I took that information that my dad had given me and went back to the back yard and grabbed the lawn mower took it out front and started walking around the neighborhood with the lawn mower.
We stayed on a resort, and the nearest golf club made dinner for everyone on the resort. All we had to do was pick it up. I was out with my father and two brothers, named Christopher and Stephen, going for a driving tour of the surrounding areas nearest the resort. The tour was extremely scenic, with palmetto trees everywhere. I just so happened to be looking out the window and said a little too loudly, “STOP!”.
Voltaire, a French Philosophe during the Enlightenment, said, “The instruction we find in books is like fire. We fetch it from our neighbors, kindle it at home, communicate it to others, and it becomes the property of all.” Voltaire saw education as a way of empowering individuals and promoting new ideals and values. The Enlightenment was a transformation of culture and intellect in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries. It brought significant changes to how people of the time lived their lives.
We all agreed and were hoping for my dad to also agree. Then my father said with a cheerful voice “Where do you guys want to go for vacation”. Me and my sister Rahma wanted to go to Florida, but, my other sister Selsibila wanted to go to California. Since Florida is closer and most of us agreed on going to Florida my parents said, “Ok then Florida it is” and we all ran to our rooms to pack up our stuff. My father quickly went on his computer and started looking for a rental.
As a person goes through life he or she may wonder “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?” The objective of this paper is to allow me to reflect and critically analyze who I am as a person. Today I woke up pretty early for a summer day, around 7am. I walked downstairs and asked my dad if we could go fishing today. He said yes and suggested that we get ready to leave. I got my fishing pole, fishing net, and my extra fishing pole string. While I was getting my stuff my dad called his friend Jimmy and asked if he wanted to come as well.
and I was working my way up the pole and pushing it up and I couldn’t lift it up anymore because I wasn 't tall enough so I was going to drop it. I yelled at my little brother to get out of the way and he ran and got out of the way so I kind of threw it up as hard as I can I quickly drop to my knees. The basketball hoop was in the air for like 4 seconds then it came down and the rim of the basketball hoop smashed my middle finger on the tip of it. When it hit my finger I instantly screamed because I saw my nail all crooked and blood was everywhere and my brother looked at me and said, “Are you gonna die”.
