I am writing this letter to explain the circumstances of my withdrawal from Galen College of Nursing in 2013, and to ask for readmission so I can complete the LPN to ADN Bridge program at Galen. My struggles began when I was laid off from my job in 2013. At first being laid off was not all bad because it allowed for plenty of time to study, however it became a financial hard shift especially when my grandmother 's Alzheimer starting progressing at a rapid rate, and I had to pay someone to stay with her while I was away. So I went back to work at the start of the Advanced Concept of Medical/Surgical course.

Hi Matt, this is Logan Sanders. After completing the preliminary Residential Assistant training I was not placed in a position. Regardless, I wanted to make contact to say that I am still interested in taking a position if one becomes available.
Through serving others, I have come to realize that every person, regardless of one’s cultural background, has something to offer to the community. As an immigrant, I was quite hesitant about accepting new challenges. The fear of others’ judgment regarding my performance hindered my progress. However, through serving others in various capacities, I was able to interact and help people in my community, who themselves helped me overcome my fears. Whether helping patients at St. John Providence or assisting refugees at the American Red Cross, I was amazed as to how much my presence made a difference, especially for those who needed me to interpret for them.

When I first applied to volunteer they were so many elderly it remind me of many horror movies because it was wheelchairs, needles, and a big empty old cafeteria that was clean, but not remodeled. It was not comfortable until I talked to this man sitting alone before entering the main building of the nursing

Sometimes, we would have people come to our home for treatments as well. Our home had become a place of healing for the broken, both literally and metaphorically.
