Growing up in San Diego was fun. The beach was near my high school and it was the ultimate after school hangout. At the beach, you could enjoy the best homemade ice cream at Mootime Creamery. When my friends were hungry, we would head out to the closest taco shop. My favorite dishes are rolled and fish tacos.
For some odd reason I have at all times wanted to be near a desert or spacious land unlike Miami and that’s why this picture really has an essential meaning to myself. This photo was taken by Ansel Adams back in 1960; a long deserted road fading away in the distance in between a pair of mountains in the Nevada desert with a never-ending impression is what the first thing the majority of people would say on their first glance and analysis of this photo. Because of the fact that this is most likely a road leading to Las Vegas, which was a major trendy city back in 1960, attracting many people from all over especially from close by, making it one of the prominent destinations for an incredible experience.
Everything we do is science! Over the summer, I went to Six Flags in New Jersey with my cousins. We went on many rides and it was a fantastic day. One of the rides we went on was the “Batman”. On this ride, you’re placed in a sitting position with your feet dangling off the edge.
If you are feeling a little confused that’s okay, this is judgment free zone. I am twenty three years old and on the verge of graduating this December, And my interpretation of messages changes every day that I mature and grow as a person.
Coming to Cal was great for me because it was the first time I had found a real LGBTQ community. Growing up I always moved schools so most of my friendships were fleeting and upon settling for high school the Gay Straight Alliance club was extremely small so coming to Cal provided a great sense of community and belonging. The summer before my first fall semester, I took a few classes to get a feel for the campus which ended up coinciding with Obergefell v. Hodges and SF gay pride which is where I made a lot of friends. Whether it is going for drinks in the Castro, dressing up for the Folsom street fair or going to social events at Oscar Wilde, Cal has provided an amazing sense of acceptance and a safe space. During the spring semester, I preformed
Growing up, I never believed I had an identity. When I delve back to my earliest of memories, both English and Spanish made an appearance in my dialogue. Because my life had always remained constrained in a blend of American and Mexican culture, it was difficult to distinguish exactly which group I resonated most with. Here in the Rio Grande Valley, it is an internal war that is fought constantly. Whoever could predominantly show their Mexican heritage would be held at a great regard for not neglecting their roots.
New Plans One Saturday morning, I woke up at seven in the morning to go to an amusement park called Six Flags. The plans had been made days ago, my two older sisters, my brother, a friend of ours and I would be going to Six Flags and spend the entire day there. As I got up after finally getting my alarm to finally shut up I walked over to the bathroom to take a shower when I realized that the ground was spinning, in my eyes at least, I had a vile taste in the back of my throat. I quickly fell back onto my bed feeling like if I hadn’t
Since birth through the age of 15, my life has taken place in Jersey City, New Jersey. Born and raised only 9 blocks away from the hospital I was born in. My family moved to Georgia only 2 years ago, since then many things have changed in our lives. Most of my family still lives in New Jersey and New York so I often go back to visit them.
In Arizona there once was a soccer team named Hammers that was traveling on a van to a soccer tournament in Las Vegas. Throughout their journey to the tournament, these fellows sang and told scary stories. The team consisted of many players in which they all had different styles of playing and different personalities.

The summer of 2016 my family and I took a road trip to Colorado. Colorado reminded me a lot of Minnesota but on a big Mountain. There are river valleys that are 1,250 feet deep to mountains that are 14,114 feet high. I climbed a mountain in Glenwood Canyon.

Imagine sitting on the white sandy beaches gazing out into the beautiful blue-green water. You can hear the waves crashing against the shore, and smell the salty ocean water. Life is perfect. In my short life time of 13 years I have gone on a few vacations, but my favorite by far was a cruise in Hawaii. That trip was so amazing because I got to visit four beautiful Hawaiian islands, and experience many amazing activities.
