Personal Narrative: My Mother

If I were to choose one person in my life that I thought of as saintly, my mom would immediately come to mind. To me, she is a saint because of her constant will to help others, guiding me in the right path, and always helping me, no matter what the circumstance. I know that she will always help me with whatever obstacle I have to face in life. For these four main reasons, my mom is a saint to me.

My mom has shown me that one of her main goals in life is to put others before herself in many different situations. One that stood out to me was her weekly drives to San Francisco to visit my grandparents, take them to various appointments, or prepare meals and clean for them. Sometimes she would even have to drop me off at school, drive to their house and then come back to pick me up. I know that there were many other things she would have rather been doing, but making that sacrifice is something that I truly consider saintly. …show more content…

By guiding me in the right path academically, my mom has showed that she was a saintly person. For example, she always has told me never to take the easy way out on my schoolwork and to always be prepared for tests and quizzes. I am very thankful to have such a holy person in my life every
