When my mom signed up young ten-year-old me for piano lessons, I had an unpleasant feeling in the back of my mind that I would “strongly dislike” the class. Little did I know that it would be the day I opened a door to a new world… After coming home from my first piano lesson, I was determined to accomplish my first assignment from Miss Rebecca, my piano teacher. She gave me my first book of piano songs, which was called “John Thompson’s Modern Course for the Piano”.
