My Story
I am a senior attending Lenoir City High School.I have a GPA of 3.607. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a veterinarian. I am a veterinarian major and a Business and Photography minor. I chose this path because I plan to open my own office one day. My inspiration for this goal is Dr. Jan Pol. He is a great man and a very diverse vet. I want to change the world and make it a better place with my office just as Dr. Pol does. I plan to make it easy for any person to have care for their loved pets. I know what it's like to be turned away due to my financial situation. Now that I have gotten a taste of college life, I feel more prepared and less overwhelmed. I know now you can not sit back and enjoy the ride like you do in lower level schools. Collage is not a place people go because they are forced to go, it is a place where people choose to participate and want to learn. Collage is a place you go to further your education and form a better career for yourself. Knowing that I am one of the many individuals who choose to allow more open doors in my life, I will strive to be the best college student/veterinarian I can be. My mother always told me don't dream, be. Through my adolescent years my primary caretaker was my mother. She taught me how to be strong, courtious, and confident. My mother was one of the unfortunate ones who were unable to finish college before her life took over. I have watched her struggle for years with trying to complete her education. When I was about nine years old my mom decided to go back to school to get her RN. Being a single mother of two kids and working full time, this was not an easy task.
