Yes. I graduated from the Texans Can Academy, an alternative high school for at-risk students. My level of preparation upon graduation was subpar. Since college was never part of my plans I never took an SAT or ACT. Throughout high school I was learning a foreign language and adapting to a new culture all while learning the required material in grade school.
Something such as returning back to school was long gone and in my past goals. After a couple of years I never thought I would end up going back to school since everything that I wanted was going good and according to plan. However sometimes we are faced with tough situations where we must find other resources in order to improve and better ourselves. Going back to school was one of the most important and wise decisions that I have ever made. Finding well-qualified candidates for a job or career nowadays is a challenge, especially in the field that I am currently in; law enforcement.
The other activities I would to do is sit around with the family and joke and watch t.v or something that I would like to do with my family. I would like to walk, drive, or play around with my dog. Where would I live as an adult? I do not know where I want to live but somewhere close to my family so I do not to travel very far when there is family emergence.
I was withdrawn from my previous middle school and things were rather calm at home I threw myself into my school work and found a sense of secret control threw self-harming and obsessive dieting it was rewarding to see the numbers go down on the scale, and up in the books. I was still withdrawn and sick I was just better at hiding it and the layers of secrecy in my life would build with age like the rings in a tree trunk. It was nearly the end of my eight grade school year before anyone intervened. The boy I sat at lunch with had tried killing himself the difference was, he warned people in his family and got caught plus help. He was put into therapy and on medication but I was also caught in the spotlight the school found out about my cutting
Entering high school my freshman year, many things were new to me, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to get involved in as a student. The only thing I was sure of was that I was going to play high school soccer. I’d been playing soccer since I was about 8 years old, and finally having the ability to play for the high school I grew up watching was exhilarating. My main goal going into the soccer program was that I wanted to make the varsity soccer team by my senior year in high school- my brother had been a former varsity player, and I greatly wanted to fill his shoes and leave my mark at the school. Throughout my four years in the program, that was my main focus, but I was happy to discover that I was also making friends along the way.
3 days actually for a week would. I got in to the hospital Tuesday and I was there until Friday and then the following week I came back on Monday and she was hired. While I was out and I didn 't know anything about it
It is a cloudy morning in Frisco, TX a small city thirty miles north of Dallas. I had just arrived from Amman, Jordan two month ago and I have been going to school for a month now. I hear my mom calling me to wake me up like an alarm clock “BASHAR WAKE UP, YOU’RE GOING TO BE LATE AGAIN TO SCHOOL” I act like I didn’t hear anything and cover myself under the sheets of the bed and went back to sleep. I never liked school, Growing up I never thought to myself that going to school and obtaining a degree is the best way to secure my future and to be successful.
It was the last week of school, and Kristina was in 8th grade. Kristina couldn 't wait to be in 9th grade, but she hated that she was being bullied everyday. Kristina had cried everyday, at school during lunch, during class, after school on the way home, and at home. On the weekends she wouldn 't leave the house, because it was her only time she got away from the bullies, and she didn 't want to take a chance on being seen outside of school.
What were you doing when you were 3? When I was 3 I wasn’t in school, but normally a child that young would be. Instead, I was watching cartoons, making a mess, and eating snacks. What I should’ve been doing was going to school, but me as a kid, I wasn’t a fast learner, I did know my ABC’s but, I didn’t learn them fast.
During my junior high school I have a test in sports, which I am poor at that needs to be at a certain grade for me to graduate, for that reason with determination I train in these sports. I memorize every move and rhythm, I asked for my friends help and train with them, I keep doing workouts for the next week, I jogged in my neighborhoods to increase my stamina, and stayed up late at night so I am able to be decent at sports. Eventually the day came and I put in my hard work, and with the support and cheer of my friends I am able to gain a decent grade for me to
Have you ever wondered what you would be doing in 10 years? I have recently given it much thought and realized some things I never thought of before. We usually just think about the present time and never think about the future and what it will take to get there, but now though this assignment my goals are much clearer and will be much easier to obtain. In ten years, I will be 23 years old in a body that is more fit than I am today, in college working on a career towards the military and working part-time to help sustain life essentials.
This morning I arrived into Ms.Tobasco’s classroom I had seen on the board when I walked into the classroom and sat down at my desk that we had a assignment the night before and that we needed to pull up the assignment so Ms.Tobasco could go around the room and check to make sure it was done. I had completely forgotten about the assignment that night I had such a busy night that I also really didn’t have any time to get my assignment done. I had to watch two kids named keiley and brayden I had to help them get there own homework done and had to feed them it was just along process by the time my boss had gotten home it was eleven o’clock at night I then had to go home and still had a lot to do so when I got home it was about almost twelve midnight
My dad graduated high school, and then he went on to get his associates degree in mortuary science from Colby Community College. After graduation, he returned home and began working under my grandfather with plans of buying the business from him. Today, he oversees branches of Price and Son 's Funeral Home in four different
I check my watch as I race to catch my first ever Austin Metro bus home. My metro bus ride to school in the morning proved disastrous. Taking the southbound rather than the northbound bus had left me confused while waiting for the return bus and embarrassed while explaining the reason for my late arrival to school. It 's 4:33. Oh man.
I am currently in the process of figuring out what is next in my life. I do know I want to provide a successful future while I am able to. Ten years from now I would like to have already graduated college and made up my mind whether I want to go into medicine or not. If I chose not to get into medicine I would like to have married my beloved boyfriend that we are currently 4 years in. I would like to have form a family also; at least two or three kids to raise.
