I have been doing some thinking about our conversation a few days ago and have concluded that I will take you up on the offer! I just sold my old bike and now have some money left over that I can use to pay for those seminars. I am going to see how soon I can get this done, I am going to look at the dates and send my form in. I will keep you posted on the status of things as they get processed.
I didn’t learn to read or write until I was 7 years old. I was in my second grade class and my peers and I were sitting in a circle when the teacher called on me to read. I sputtered some gibberish with a tomato red face. The only words I recognized were “it’s” “it,” and “a”- which is really just a letter.
I should have been opened up my eyes to reading and writing because I want to be a teacher, assistant. I always liked working with kids, and I will like to be a great assistant. Since there's no way to become a teacher assistant or even a teacher without having reading and writing skills, I will have to read and write more often. It is like King says "If you want to be a writer, you must do to things above all others: Read a lot and write a lot" (72, 73). If I want to be a teacher assistant or maybe a teacher one day I must ameliorate my reading and writing.
I don 't exactly remember the day learned to read, I guess learning to read came hand in hand with learning to write, slowly. I remember having to copy words off of a blackboard onto paper, then re-write those words over and over again until I not only memorized how to write them but also how to pronounce them. I remember every Friday was library day in elementary school and my friends and I would always fight to be first in line to get to the sports section because we never wanted to have to read anything "boring". I enjoy reading for pleasure but I dislike reading for information, most likely because I have a difficult time learning something just by reading it, I am more of a hands on learner.
When I turned into a freshman, I decided to transfer to a deaf school for my high school years and graduated there. By then, my struggles with my writing and reading were improving by working hard. IN my freshman, there was an English teacher, Mrs. Copeland-Samaripa, a strict teacher I ever had seen and I failed this class once because of lack of my doing in homework and tests. I didn’t want to repeat the grade so I decided to work hard by studying notes for test and turned homework in on time.
Before I Was Born Everyone in my close family on my mom’s side has lived and or was born in Murdo, SD except me. I was baby sat by Gloria Sund and I still go and see her but Logan told Gloria to baby sit me when I was born.

I 've learned that reading and writing can take me any where I want it to go. I can explore my mind to go anywhere by imagination, by reading and writing. However,My reading and writing experience since I was a kid until now I still having a difficulty. When I was 3 years old my mom started me to learn how to read and write. At first, I 'm having a difficulty to read and write but my mom tried her best to taught me.
A Learning Experience: Reading and Writing Through most of my adolescent years, reading books and writing my thoughts took patience that I lacked and a desire my mind could not want for. But as the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. I know now that we are fortunate to have the opportunities to learn to read and write at such a young age. We are willingly and eagerly taught by our families, friends, neighbors, and teachers at school. But I find myself wondering, what about those that were not so lucky?
Let me set the scene, it’s a balmy night in Copenhagen, the empty streets are filled with the sound of our feet hitting the pavement, reverberating off the buildings, rippling through the air like a pebble dropped into a deep pond. The time is 9 p.m., to be exact, and Kathryn and I are in search of something to pique our interest. Kathryn and I have been acquaintances since the age of 8 when we met performing in musical theatre. She was kind, outgoing, and wore a yellow raincoat to practice everyday, even though it never actually rained. I was quiet, timid, and my clothing consisted of a variety of sweat pants and dance clothes.
In my free time I tend to read and write often. My personal goals in life require I improve my reading and writing skills. I regually scribble short stories or read books for inspiration. Through my rather extensive experience with reading and writing I 've had some significant encounters with both activities. My most significant encounter with reading would be discovering the manga series Berserk.
The musty aroma of a dust covered card catalog reminds of a time when reading new books was a weekly rewarding experience.
