As important natural and manmade resources such as Iron, coal, and lumber had just become easily accessible. Which for most meant an improvement on their living conditions, but for the poverty it meant sustaining their life was going to get harder. I have been fortunate to work in two kitchens in Quebec during my career and know first hand their respect for and love affair with wild game.
